I think part of the ratings drop doesn’t have to do with the politics rather that this is literally the most boring finals they’ve ever had. There’s Lebrons “super team” facing against a team that has 3 of their best starters hurt so it’s obvious what the outcome will be

So, one of my instructors at my community college doesn’t like Trump at all, and has made that clear in nearly every class we’ve had.
The class before last, though, he was just going to far. Nearly an hour into the 3 hour class and all that was talked about was politics. A good portion of it, anti-Trump.
So by that point I’d had enough. And talked to him right there, in class.
I told him, in a calm manner, that I didn’t think this was the place for politics, and that, even if unintentional, him saying his views could influence others that were there. And that it was such a divided topic, so it could cause trouble.
And I never even mentioned my own political views.
And he sat down and talked with me, explained his reasoning, and listened to my points.
And after, he pointed to me and said “That’s what all of America should be doing. He’s thinking”
Then the next class, there was no politics.
We can’t be afraid to try to talk.
Not everyone who doesn’t like Trump is an unreasonable Liberal.
And I have bad shyness and social anxiety (Selective Mutism), so if did it, I’m sure others can too. 👍
i used to be where u were, but i eventually learned to speak up and question things
some teachers will allow u to question thngs...some won't ....those that won't will basically punish and shame u
in the day and age of instant recording, i strongly suggest u record all interactions that make u question the teachings
just incase u get one of those teachers that are on the punish and shame u side of the equation
the recording will help ur case in the future
