Ig $8 for a 10kmah battery, you can't really go wrong with haha

2020-11-12 03:23:41 UTC

But then maybe there a reason it's on clearance 🤔

2020-11-12 03:27:38 UTC

I prefer Anker and haven't had any problems with the three power banks I've owned over the years and have bought Anker banks for family members.

2020-11-12 03:46:15 UTC

I personally just recently bought a 10kmah anker for $25, but then found that belkin for 8 and it can charge 2 devices at once, which made me a bit sore haha

2020-11-12 03:47:30 UTC

I do like anker better though, fit and finish seems a bit better haha

2020-11-12 03:48:59 UTC

I was wanting to get another maybe so I was thinking about getting the belkin as well, but idk

Anyone else get annoyed by people acting like ssds are this brand new thing that will revolutionize gaming?

2020-11-12 19:25:41 UTC

People are acting like it’s the next big thing, they’ve been in PC builds for years now

2020-11-12 19:26:18 UTC

Just because the new Xbox can load a game in a decent amount of time doesn’t mean this will change gaming and the way games are made, think about pc games

2020-11-12 20:16:08 UTC

thats just the console casuals catching up and the manufacturers are capitalizing on it with good marketing. plus now they are getting so cheap its actually worth it to casuals

2020-11-12 20:44:36 UTC

I remember years ago the world of difference it made when I moved my moded Skyrim from my large HDD to an SSD on my PC at the time. That was a large time saver with the amount of loading screens in many Bethesda games.

2020-11-12 20:46:26 UTC

My pc has a 256gb SSD and 1tb hdd. 1 tb SSD upgrade would be nice tbh

2020-11-12 20:46:55 UTC

I have a whole list of upgrades for my rig though

2020-11-12 20:47:46 UTC

One 1tb sata SSDs aren't badly priced now days. You can get a quality one for about $100 if you look for sales. Even a 1tb nvme from big name brands can be have for about $200.

2020-11-12 20:48:08 UTC

That’s not too bad

2020-11-12 21:07:14 UTC

Don't forget a lot of loading screens were made for consoles

2020-11-12 21:07:47 UTC

Like yes I need a 2 second loading screen in AC Odyssey

> i have a 1660 Super. its a pretty decent card for light 1080 high-ultra gaming on most games
@SmokyCopCar Nice, I have a 2060 RTX, super OP and plays exactly what I need on max graphics

2020-11-13 00:55:08 UTC

not sure what to do about the dust getting inside tho

@Book my goal in the next year for my setup is to upgrade to 16gb ram (I only have 8), RTX2060, 1440p 144hz monitor 27 inch x2. Better keyboard mouse headset (all are meh), quieter fans and a top fan (my pc currently sounds like a commercial jet when it’s under load).

2020-11-13 01:05:42 UTC

That’s my goal. I know for sure I’ll get the fans, Ram, and better peripherals within the next year

@SmokyCopCar Nice

My Laptop has the 2060 RTX graphic card, 16GB Ram, 144HZ Display, and I think an I7 9th Gen

2020-11-13 01:06:04 UTC

And we also bought 4 year Asurion Insurance to go with it, Asurion is great.

2020-11-13 01:06:44 UTC

Ahh nice. I have an AMD Ryzen 5 3600. mine is an HP Omen 30L desktop

2020-11-13 01:07:03 UTC

I heard Ryzen is awesome.

I can't use desktops tho, I travel too much

2020-11-13 01:07:11 UTC

Cause if I had desktop, dust wouldn't be a problem lol.

2020-11-13 01:07:17 UTC

It'd be really easy to clean

2020-11-13 01:07:22 UTC

with a laptop is practically impossible

2020-11-13 01:07:39 UTC

Makes sense. Yeah Ryzen CPUs are awesome they just tend to run a bit hotter than Intel CPUs

2020-11-13 01:07:48 UTC

ye AMD is like that

2020-11-13 01:08:43 UTC

My peak CPU temp currently under load is 78 degrees Celsius (at that point I let it cool down a bit

2020-11-13 01:10:52 UTC

Biggest load my pc faces is probably Beam Ng drive with ge force experience optimized settings

2020-11-13 03:42:48 UTC

@Stargatemaster96 I went ahead and bought that battery pack since it was still there. might give it as a gift, idk. it was too good of a deal for me to pass up haha
