They probably expect you to go and buy an external drive
Yeah
Smoky do you have an Android?
If so did the new Google update break chrome on your phone
?
I have an iPhone 8
Oh
Google play updated chrome last night and ever since then it won't work
Dang
I like the IOS boxy look but I can't handle not having an app drawer once you use it once you get addicted to it lol
I always hated samsung internet but I'm glad it exists now
App drawer?
@SmokyCopCar this
Ohhhh
Ios 14 launcher
I'm pretty sure this is actually a virus so imma uninstall this real quick
Or the google app update
Either way both those apps updated for my recently and chrome still works for me
> Guess this is an Apple version of that
@SmokyCopCar also no, not quite xd. Androids app drawer is basically like what your home screen is like. The entire list of apps. On an Androids home screen you can add shortcuts, and rearrange them, or delete them, so you have only the apps on the home screen that you use regularly or that are important to you, and the rest you can open from the app drawer if you need them
It's a little different, but similar
Ohhh
Ever since iOS 14, iPhones have had an app drawer
Oh I haven’t updated because fuck their covid tracker
I have something kinda like that
I was taking to a guy in another discord the other day and he was saying that he needs a new phone but he can't afford an iphone right now. I told him just buy a Android phone because there's plenty of them so you can surely find one that you can afford. Then he told me that he doesn't want a Android because his friends doesn't like their messages being green. I'm like dude if you friends can't talk to you because your messages are green you need some actual friends.
Anyway who uses even uses SMS anymore?
What a boomer technology
You can enable the COVID tracking manually yourself after you update, and its not on by default
The fact that SMS isn't end to end encrypted is my main reason I only use SMS to talk to a few people like my mother, aunt, and grandfather who have hard enough times with phones already.
I only use SMS for family and work
yeah for some reason Google messages won't end-to-end encrypt their messages
and they haven't perfected their system that *does* send through internet, so it's not as seamless as sms
The reason is Google messages actually uses a cell provider service/protocol for their non SMS/MSS messages with compatible phones and apps. By using the standard it technically allows an iphone to also use the messaging protocol if they choose to.
oh I see
