even Scho-Ka-Kola works really well when hiking

2020-07-12 21:20:25 UTC

Do you have a book in there? Like a basic survival book that talks about knot tying, shelter buiding, etc?

2020-07-12 21:21:53 UTC

i have bushcraft 101 and how to build and furnish a log cabin

2020-07-12 21:22:39 UTC

i also plan to get The Lost Ways by Claude Davis

2020-07-12 21:22:49 UTC

2020-07-12 21:31:22 UTC

@Tyler Zed most of electronic stuff i have are solar/ USB recharbable via a solar powerbank

2020-07-12 21:40:48 UTC

Dang... everyone here is so prepared. I've always wanted a bugout bag, but I am definitely not on that level. I'm majoring in Recreation Management (at a conservative university, no brainwashing for me!) simply for the wilderness survival classes

2020-07-12 21:42:59 UTC

survival skills are very useful

2020-07-12 21:43:08 UTC

even for daily life

2020-07-12 21:43:20 UTC

That's awesome Evelyn, do you know what you want to with that after school?

2020-07-12 21:43:51 UTC

and yeah, pretty cool πŸ™‚

2020-07-12 21:46:06 UTC

U.S. x2, Old red ensign (Canada), France x2 and the Don't Tread On Me

2020-07-12 21:47:34 UTC

Hi zed!! I’m a big fan!!! Love your vids!

2020-07-12 21:49:15 UTC

I'd like to just know the skills, but as a career I'd actually like to be a screenwriter. I'm not majoring in it because my college doesn't offer it as a major and I'm not going to a liberal school for that, so I'm basically starting small and writing stories on my own. But the skills I get in my current major are really good, the classes that aren't about wilderness survival are about running a business so it's very useful information

2020-07-12 21:49:36 UTC

I am not going to @ zed but, if you do see this, What would you put in a rookie bugout bag?

2020-07-12 21:50:01 UTC

They sell pre-made bugout bags

2020-07-12 21:50:15 UTC

Really? Where at?

2020-07-12 21:53:02 UTC

> Hi zed!! I’m a big fan!!! Love your vids!
@Walkamollee Hey thanks! I appreciate it!

2020-07-12 21:53:49 UTC
2020-07-12 21:53:52 UTC

Also, what type of training would you suggest for survival?

2020-07-12 21:54:03 UTC

> I am not going to @ zed but, if you do see this, What would you put in a rookie bugout bag?
@Billy. Good question. I ask that all the time haha. Something to eat for sure, some money and some first aid. That's all i have for you haha

@Evelyn S. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ 1,000 words a day. That's how you become a writer. The most important thing is developing the discipline to sit down and do the work everyday. If you haven't yet, read stephen King's "on writing"... many other books i could reccomend too, but that should give you some inspiration for a while

@Walkamollee That they are... A lot more good people and sensible people in the world than there are crazies though, at least I like to tell myself that

2020-07-12 21:55:59 UTC

About writing, how would one write a song like Johnny, Waylon, Kris, and will?

2020-07-12 21:58:11 UTC

@Tyler Zed That's what one of my friends who has gotten his short stories published in various magazines told me. I've been pretty busy the past couple of weeks, but when things settle down for me I'm definitely doing that. In the meantime, I've been trying to make sure I at least write *something* everyday, even if I can't make it to 1000 words every time

2020-07-12 22:00:02 UTC

@Tyler Zed liberals are ruining where I live with there radical policies! I have hope that things will get better!

@Evelyn S. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Good to hear! The hardest thing to do is be disciplined about it, that's why most people fail at it

2020-07-12 23:08:22 UTC

@Tyler Zed oh and i also have a Bible in my bag

2020-07-12 23:41:13 UTC

That’s the most essential item

2020-07-12 23:44:18 UTC

the best thing to bug out in is a 4x4

2020-07-12 23:44:45 UTC
