For those wondering if they should read The Boys comics since the show is being heavily publicised - it's crass, it's more than R-rated, but with very little redeeming value beyond "Hey, look at this edgy thing we're doing"

Implication is everything and the comics have no idea how to imply. If they do, they simply don't want to and instead decide to go down a downright x-rated route instead
