Was amazing

2020-12-21 18:29:40 UTC

Ye

2020-12-21 20:18:14 UTC

No

2020-12-21 21:35:47 UTC

I was just thinking about it the other day with the idea of reparations, bringing certain groups down so that others can get a chance at power, the way that the school systems are teaching students, and the idea of victimization and oppression. Idk, it sort was like "huh, well that's not good". Trying to bring everyone down for the sake of equal outcome basically

2020-12-21 21:35:54 UTC

so yeee

2020-12-21 21:36:29 UTC

think people should go reread their dystopian novels and shake their head as they watch it morph into reality

2020-12-21 21:46:52 UTC

Is anyone here going to see WW84?

2020-12-22 08:25:48 UTC

Anyone watching season 4 of S.W.A.T. and sick and tired of the BLM and Covid crap?

2020-12-23 03:14:45 UTC

tenet is loved for the aesthetic and hated for the content lol

2020-12-23 03:19:12 UTC

I loved it.

2020-12-23 12:36:12 UTC

so did I

2020-12-23 12:54:37 UTC

Is that movie based on the book The Tenant by Roland Topor or something else?

2020-12-23 12:56:02 UTC

No its not based on it

2020-12-23 12:56:09 UTC

it's an entirely new concept

2020-12-23 12:57:19 UTC

like basically bullets go backwards, they crash a plane into an art center place, and some woman shoots her husband and ties a rope to him and yeets him off a yacht

2020-12-23 12:57:40 UTC

Also I don't think it's a coincidence that the guy who crashed the plane was arabic...

2020-12-23 12:57:42 UTC

Alright. I wasn't sure. I found the book the Tenant shortly before I saw the movie going around and didn't know if they had any relation.

2020-12-23 12:57:50 UTC

Thank you. :)

2020-12-23 12:57:59 UTC

youre welcome

2020-12-23 12:58:03 UTC

From what I'd heard, they didn't seem like the same thing.

2020-12-23 12:58:14 UTC

I looked up the book and no way

2020-12-23 12:58:19 UTC

not even close lmao

2020-12-23 13:08:52 UTC

Lmao. I don't follow movies much so, the timing of finding the book and the movie coming out was just coincidental ahahah

2020-12-24 01:00:48 UTC

just finished Fahrenheit 451😩

2020-12-24 01:01:04 UTC

highly recommend

2020-12-24 04:14:04 UTC

I just finished watching The Midnight Sky, and it was really good.

2020-12-24 04:14:15 UTC

Has a real punch in the gut ending, though

2020-12-24 05:45:08 UTC

It was an amazing book

2020-12-24 06:43:14 UTC

Indeed💯

2020-12-24 06:46:37 UTC

Now you should read 1984

2020-12-24 12:24:04 UTC

Brave New World is also really good.

2020-12-24 17:14:47 UTC

i read that for class and initially thought it was kind of bad, but as i stewed on it over the months, i've realized maybe that's where it's closer to reality than 1984 or Fahrenheit 451 for our dystopia future

2020-12-24 17:25:58 UTC

(Honestly, I liked Brave New World way better than Fahrenheit 451)

2020-12-24 17:31:48 UTC

I haven't read the book for Brave New World, but I'm getting ready to watch the show

2020-12-24 18:01:31 UTC

2020-12-24 18:10:58 UTC

2020-12-24 18:11:17 UTC
