Hey, my friend has a flag from WWII, but we can't figure out what it says. Can anyone figure this out?

It's a shame the weeb channel got removed (not really), but you could've just asked there
Hopefully Trump wins in 2020 because I am afraid if Biden wins the first Christmas where my entire family will be present won't happen. Currently 5 of my 7 brothers are military, and I am a physical therapy nurse in Hawaii at the base there. I have never once in my life had all 7 brothers there for Christmas being 18 years younger than my oldest brother and the 2nd youngest overall. Always 1 or all were away serving over Christmas. Can't wait to be able to be with all of them this year!!!! That is the main reason I am voting Trump right now! In 2016 I filled in Senator Palpatine, because I didn't like the voting field, well now I get to vote for someone who might be an asshole but he is the asshole I need to see my brothers!
Damn musta been rough growing up not seeing your entire family at once.
you get used to it?
@Killermanjer thank you so much
No problem!
What does everyone think of military animals? Not just in modern war but in historical war?
I think they played an interesting role
Could argue that they built some empires too, like the Mongols
Yeah
Cats, dogs, and pigeons all played important roles in warfare of the past, mostly in the realm of message delivering and communications
Horses also played a huge part
horses are a given, as well as elephants lol. I never heard of cats being used like that though. dogs and pigeons are definitely under credited. there are some rare historical accounts of actual war dogs being used in battle, but a lot of the time theyd be more like K9 units in police force or military where they play a support role but can also engage the enemy if needed. thats why some of those weirder breeds of smaller dogs were really popular, because they were incredible trackers. Humans can do the fighting, but most of us suck shit at the tracking part compared to even an untrained dog. There are accounts of a lot of different kinds of weird animals being used in war. I believe there was a dolphin used at some point in ancient history? I havent researched animals used in warfare very thoroughly, but its really interesting. I mean, in more modern history they tried to come up with an idea where they would use pigeons to guide missiles. stick a pigeon in the tip of a missile with a screen and a camera, the pigeon (mightve also been a chicken) would be trained to peck at certain things and that was their idea of a guided missile.
Dogs were used to sniff out landmines. Smaller breeds probably wouldn't set them off.
Nowadays Giant African pouched rats are used for the same purpose.
didn't the U.S.A try and use bats to set japan on fire. during world war 2
rats are actually very smart and trainable animals
holy fuck, really? @PlP3 CL3AN3R G0D
and I forgot about rats! I watched a documentary about them training rats for bomb sniffing and landmine finding
Yeah rat in Mozambique are fed bananas for every mine they discover
its pretty cool
