sorry

2020-11-25 18:44:49 UTC

Wouldn't call nato the 4th reich but i dont like it at all

2020-11-25 18:45:33 UTC

NATO has one country I dont like

2020-11-25 18:45:42 UTC

Turkey

2020-11-25 18:46:11 UTC

Thats the problem

2020-11-25 18:46:16 UTC

it does good and is the equivilant to the UN without Russia and China

2020-11-25 18:46:22 UTC

Erdogan is unpredictable

2020-11-25 18:47:19 UTC

I personally don't like NATO's charter and how it has allowed its' members to take advantage of one another. I understand it's purpose during the Cold War, but I think the roots of corruption are so intrensic to it's creation that it needs to be completely rehashed.

2020-11-25 18:47:25 UTC

The UN aint an alliance btw

2020-11-25 18:47:58 UTC

@Equalibrium yeah they need to get rid of the swamp

2020-11-25 18:48:21 UTC

If nato wants to do something good they should start preparing against Xi

2020-11-25 18:48:50 UTC

I think there more focused on Russian aggression

2020-11-25 18:49:12 UTC

That is a very tiny speck compared to China

2020-11-25 18:49:16 UTC

My issue with the UN is that it is an independant body of non-elected officers trying to impose legislation without representation. I think we had a war about that, oh back in the 1700-1800's or there abouts.

2020-11-25 18:49:32 UTC

They're going around and claiming other country's land

2020-11-25 18:49:33 UTC

The US, South Korea, and Japan are dealing with China

2020-11-25 18:49:55 UTC

its another cold war/arms race

2020-11-25 18:50:15 UTC

Yeah the US wont be around for long with Joe

2020-11-25 18:50:30 UTC

there will be more elections

2020-11-25 18:50:35 UTC

Ik

2020-11-25 18:50:43 UTC

But 4 yrs is a long time

2020-11-25 18:51:05 UTC

not enough time for China to become a super power

2020-11-25 18:51:21 UTC

... in some ways they already may be...

2020-11-25 18:51:21 UTC

2020-11-25 18:51:41 UTC

Heck look at their navy

2020-11-25 18:51:52 UTC

After spending some time in Asia, I would define Russia and China as two grumpy brothers forced to rely on one another. They will cover each other's backs, while bickering the whole time. Russia wants all of Europe, China wants all of Asia, so for now they are not at cross purposes, and they "share ideals" so it's a passable working relationship.

2020-11-25 18:52:02 UTC

They have a new stealth destroyer and are building 8 more

2020-11-25 18:52:56 UTC

And they have new AShMs, and adding new ships 24/7

2020-11-25 18:53:45 UTC

their sphere of influince is smaller than the US and prodomanatly economic not millitary

2020-11-25 18:54:04 UTC

Thats kinda important as well

2020-11-25 18:54:24 UTC

By 2032 i think China will be a military superpower

2020-11-25 18:54:40 UTC

we have both economic and millitary dominance

2020-11-25 18:55:20 UTC

I don't know they would have to have a lot of control in africa

2020-11-25 18:55:28 UTC

to become a superpower

2020-11-25 18:55:54 UTC

they have economic control but they would need to have more bases

2020-11-25 18:56:02 UTC

they have 1

2020-11-25 18:56:14 UTC

They wont have a lot more

2020-11-25 18:58:39 UTC

Economically speaking, China is a superpower. It's just that their military development started much much later

2020-11-25 18:58:49 UTC

But its catching up and fast

2020-11-25 21:01:47 UTC

May seem like it, I’d be willing to bet the USA has classified much more advanced technologies, I once heard a saying that if they are telling you about a weapon, they probably have something better

2020-11-25 21:55:22 UTC
