all the ones you get from walmart or acadmeny break if you press down to hard on the blade lol

@KungFlu BatSoup Benchmade or Buck knives are the best. They also come with lifetime warranty

This is my great grandpas

2020-12-09 03:53:19 UTC

Its made of real metal and wood so it's nearly impossible to bend the blade

2020-12-09 12:33:14 UTC

@BrendanMalone2 what did you catch it on?

2020-12-09 12:40:03 UTC

A crappie jig

2020-12-09 13:00:52 UTC

Nice

2020-12-09 14:58:51 UTC

@Winnie37a I’ve had $50 dollar knives last a couple years even with heavy use

2020-12-09 15:34:33 UTC

i usually buy the 30 pos knives cause I lose em before I ever put enough wear on em xD

2020-12-09 18:07:21 UTC

Cheap knifes dull faster than quality knifes

2020-12-09 18:07:48 UTC

But yes some $50 knifes will last but they are few and far between

2020-12-09 18:26:38 UTC

I usually sharpen my knives after 3 or 4 uses

2020-12-09 18:30:43 UTC

I have a buck knife with a gut hook that I used to carry everywhere for about 8 years, then I started carrying my Walther Creed 9mm and the brass cap on the wood hilt started scratching my gun, so I just keep it in my hunting pack now

2020-12-09 20:19:21 UTC

true. I usually get better knives on sale for 30 though. Im not paying full retail for anything if can help it <:KEK:726877368601411624>

2020-12-09 20:20:26 UTC

OKC Rat, cost me 32, typically retails for 45-50

great knife too

2020-12-09 23:32:26 UTC

What bow hunting tips do y’all have

2020-12-09 23:56:07 UTC

@j_dog72 Don’t take a shot with the deer facing towards you at an angle otherwise you’ll hit bone

@j_dog72 broadside shots only, there's no such thing as "too much scent killer", and while deer tend to jump at gunshots, they seem to duck at bows, but so long as you can hit a baseball at whatever yardage you're shooting, you should be good

2020-12-10 02:07:28 UTC

Oh and, never shoot at a moving target. Always make them stop. A whistle works, a grunt is better

2020-12-10 02:13:18 UTC

Ok thanks

2020-12-10 02:14:34 UTC

Is this your first season hunting?

2020-12-10 02:15:46 UTC

With a bow I usually used a 270

2020-12-10 04:06:24 UTC

I have a 70 pound compound bow but bow hunting just seems too complicated.

2020-12-11 06:59:01 UTC

It's complicated when you use a bow.

2020-12-11 06:59:10 UTC

Now if you have a Remington Model 700

2020-12-11 06:59:13 UTC

Its a lot easier

2020-12-11 12:59:54 UTC

Unfortunately gun season ended

2020-12-12 03:46:03 UTC

i have a question for hunters

2020-12-12 03:46:29 UTC

can you hunt year round

2020-12-12 03:46:40 UTC

depending on the tool you use to hunt with

2020-12-12 03:54:30 UTC

No there is a time for hunting with guns, bows, and muzzle loaders, this time goes from I think October 15 to January 1

2020-12-12 04:16:08 UTC

Depends on state but you can hunt coyotes, hogs, skunks/opposums/raccoons can be killed year round

2020-12-12 04:33:52 UTC

cool

2020-12-12 04:34:07 UTC

i think i’m gonna start hunting next year

2020-12-12 04:47:04 UTC

@[dangle] if you going to start hunting be prepared to spend a few thousand dollars to start off. I would go hunting with a friend first to make sure you like sitting in a stand for 10 hours a day

2020-12-12 14:35:48 UTC

Plus you need to get hunters safety class and licenses
