2020-07-15 06:03:52 UTC

I’ll buy whatever you link

2020-07-15 06:04:03 UTC

Keep in mind I used this for rifles and pistols but not recolvers

2020-07-15 06:04:17 UTC

Fuck

2020-07-15 06:04:19 UTC

I don’t use revolvers so take my link with a grain of salt

2020-07-15 06:04:22 UTC

What about revolvers tho

2020-07-15 06:04:48 UTC

I mean the label doesnt say anything against revolvers

2020-07-15 06:05:01 UTC

It worked for my guns

2020-07-15 06:05:09 UTC

I say give it a try

2020-07-15 08:27:02 UTC

What's the best hunting round that could also be used for home defense/tyrannical government putter downer?

2020-07-15 14:24:33 UTC

My dad went to buy guns yesterday at a gun store and almost every gun was sold out. In fact, my dad was only able to get a gun because nobody wanted one that was colored teal. The owner of the shop said that people have been buying guns like crazy. I had known that gun sales had been on the rise since March, but I had no idea it was like this.
Faith in humanity restored— although I hope my family will be able to find more guns to buy somewhere

2020-07-15 14:36:30 UTC

People have been buying guns like they’re buying Goya after the ceo went based on live tv.

2020-07-15 15:04:37 UTC

Just burned through a 100 rounds yesterday and my ears are still ringing....

.223/5.56 is not a good hunting round. I've been working on a conversion for my Remington 742 semi-auto .30-06 hunting rifle. Originally, it looks like this:

Converted using a floating forend by Accuracy-Systems and a collapsible stock from ATI, it can look like this:

Depending on whether you use the 18" barrel, or the full 22" barrel

2020-07-15 15:43:47 UTC

Only problem is, my 742 has a squared top, and the Accuracy-Systems forend is for a rounded top. I gotta do some dremel-work.

2020-07-15 15:50:10 UTC

Biggest mags I can find are 10s though. Hey, if you can't hit it in 10...

2020-07-15 17:50:20 UTC

@Old_Greg what about .450 bushmaster

2020-07-15 17:50:55 UTC

Fairly hefty

2020-07-15 17:51:07 UTC

a little large for some game. I like .30 cal for general purpose. .30 is also 7.62, btw.

2020-07-15 17:51:09 UTC

I'm considering buying an upper for the ar15 platform

2020-07-15 17:51:43 UTC

Fair enough, I was also considering either a 5.56 or 7.62 upper

2020-07-15 17:52:07 UTC

the 7.62would be a better all-purpose round

2020-07-15 17:52:18 UTC

Ya but $$$

2020-07-15 17:52:24 UTC

yeh

2020-07-15 17:54:24 UTC

How about for handguns?

2020-07-15 17:54:31 UTC

I'm considering a glock 19

2020-07-15 17:55:11 UTC

I like my compact .45 Colt Commander. Sometimes short, fat, and slow do the job nicely.

2020-07-15 17:56:30 UTC

Sub-sonic ammo and packs a punch

2020-07-15 17:56:54 UTC

Pros of subsonic?

2020-07-15 17:57:10 UTC

No sonic boom.

2020-07-15 17:57:18 UTC

Basically, that's all

2020-07-15 17:57:25 UTC

Still loud?

2020-07-15 17:58:00 UTC

Oh yeah, as loud as any other. But, if using a supressor, you don't have the extra sonic boom.

2020-07-15 17:58:24 UTC

True but then you need a tax stamp

2020-07-15 17:58:38 UTC

Also, sub-sonic doesn't pass through as easily

2020-07-15 17:58:59 UTC

Yes, you need a tax stamp for the suppressor. Of course
