So a car instantly transforms into an AR-15 when it's used on people

2020-07-21 00:37:54 UTC

No way!

2020-07-21 00:38:08 UTC

No, cars kill by misuse of them. Ex. Manslaughter, car accidents.

2020-07-21 00:38:22 UTC

I know I was joking

2020-07-21 00:39:47 UTC

I’m a overthinker sometimes.

2020-07-21 00:39:56 UTC

Full auto makes drive-bys worse

2020-07-21 00:40:43 UTC

Makes it easier to mow down a group of people

2020-07-21 00:42:37 UTC

More chances of stray bullet hitting someone if used in self defense

2020-07-21 01:02:36 UTC

A good person does not need laws to act accordingly in society whereas a bad person will ignore the law entirely.

2020-07-21 01:03:51 UTC

Well said

2020-07-21 01:03:57 UTC

Drive by shootings are illegal. So its obvious full autos are choice there. Probably add some cocaine in the mix since, fuck the law, and proceed to mag dump after mag dump. Not like the law mattered to begin with.

2020-07-21 01:06:33 UTC

Gun laws only harm the law abiding. Funny how Chicago has virtually banned guns yet has some of the highest gun crime in the world.

2020-07-21 01:08:23 UTC

Yea but no criminals have full auto yet

2020-07-21 01:12:52 UTC

*Yet*

2020-07-21 01:18:35 UTC

Criminals have full auto already. The easiest home-built, home-designed repeating firearm is a full-auto-only SMG. They're really popular with biker gangs in Australia. https://homemadeguns.wordpress.com/

2020-07-21 01:19:28 UTC

And full auto is generally pointless, especially in the civilian world. Should it be legal? Hell yeah. But I'd never use it anywhere but the range (where I already do sometimes).

2020-07-21 01:19:51 UTC

No full auto in US yet cuz the news would be all over it

2020-07-21 01:19:58 UTC

They want any reason to ban guns

2020-07-21 01:20:01 UTC

But the main reason we don't see more FA stuff used in the US is criminals here prefer handguns, because they're easy to conceal.

2020-07-21 01:20:43 UTC

And if you've never shot a full auto handgun... go shoot a converted Glock sometime. Holy pointless giggle machine.

2020-07-21 01:20:59 UTC

I have shot a full auto glock

2020-07-21 01:21:07 UTC

Its hard to control

2020-07-21 01:21:09 UTC

It just vomits bullets wherever.

2020-07-21 01:21:14 UTC

Waste of ammo

2020-07-21 01:21:27 UTC

Yeah. I know. My recoil control is pretty damn good, but those things are completely useless.

2020-07-21 01:22:27 UTC

You would need a 100 round mag so you don't use it all so fast

2020-07-21 01:30:25 UTC

Still wouldn't hit anything outside of dumb luck.

2020-07-21 02:37:49 UTC

Technically they do have illegal fully automatic glocks on the black market

2020-07-21 02:39:10 UTC

I'd rather buy a Negev, they're only 2K

2020-07-21 02:39:29 UTC

And if you keep that trigger pulled for more than a few seconds the aim is incredible

2020-07-21 02:39:46 UTC

I’d love to get an MMR AR but it doesn’t have a forward assist, it having one really that important if I’m just using it at the range?

2020-07-21 02:40:16 UTC

A forward assist isn't really all too useful.

2020-07-21 02:40:30 UTC

It's good to make sure your gun is in battery but that's it

2020-07-21 02:40:39 UTC

Normally the argument is that it’s quieter to use the forward push, better in cold weather, but if you have to recharge the chargin pin does it eject a round?

2020-07-21 02:40:59 UTC

Or as long as you don’t pull it back all the way you’re fine

2020-07-21 02:41:01 UTC

Depends on how far back you pull the slide

2020-07-21 02:41:01 UTC

Negev is constant recoil like the Ultimax, isn't it?

2020-07-21 02:41:28 UTC

Okay thank you! They’re still kind of expensive but I’m not sure what’s important when looking for ARs

2020-07-21 02:42:34 UTC

Some ppl use them znd others don't its what u want

2020-07-21 02:42:41 UTC

Yeah, in the real world the forward assist is pretty much useless. Good for silent loading, and for making malfunctions worse. Pull the bolt all the way to the rear and let it go (or just lock it rear, insert mag and release the bolt with the button) and you'll be fine.
