@ThermoFlaskChapStick427 HK are good. What's drawing you to them and a .40 caliber?

2020-09-13 17:57:48 UTC

So i keep hearin about this thing called trigger discipline. am j doing it right?

2020-09-13 17:58:35 UTC

I mean

2020-09-13 17:58:46 UTC

You physically can't pull the trigger

2020-09-13 18:00:27 UTC

The final stage of trigger discipline is just removing the trigger all together

2020-09-13 18:05:35 UTC

or the bicep

The mag kind of sets off my ocd, but the rest looks very nice.

@HUNTER4639 I am looking to a 40. Caliber because it has more stopping power than a 9mm, but not magazine capacity of a 45. ACP. It is a nice mid-range round that is fairly common. H&K is a very high quality weapons manufacterer, and I have seen very popular reviews from Hickok45 and others. It is a relatively small handgun so easy to conceal.

2020-09-13 21:12:35 UTC

Sounds good. I don't have any experience with .40.

2020-09-13 22:16:56 UTC

Unfortunately I live in Jersey and the only 10 round mags available when I bought them at the store were that color.

To the gun owners/machining enthusiasts, what are your thoughts on 80% lowers?

2020-09-13 22:24:55 UTC
2020-09-13 23:20:23 UTC

My thought is about 2 to 3 weeks ago an 80% lower from Aero would have cost about $30 lol, on a serious note though I think building your own is a great way to save a few bucks (if you have all the tools needed to complete it already) I personally would just buy a complete lower because I DON'T have all the tools so it's cheaper for me to go that route.

2020-09-14 03:01:01 UTC

@ChronicallyChronic is that a kel Tec sub 2000?

2020-09-14 03:01:12 UTC

I am interested in those

2020-09-14 03:09:59 UTC

For someone who wants to become a gun owner (17 right now, Florida) what are some tips you guys may have? Anything helps.

2020-09-14 03:34:19 UTC

@Erby If you're gonna take a whack at that, use a jig, cobalt drills and a good, sharp end mill

2020-09-14 03:35:21 UTC

6061 is fairly easy to machine but you still have to have some understanding of speeds and feeds if you want to get it done properly. Also, DO NOT try to do anything other than plunge cuts with a drill press

2020-09-14 13:24:45 UTC

Any one have 3d models or where to get print download

2020-09-14 13:27:22 UTC

Let's not distribute or request the 3D models for guns. There is still pending cases on the issue.

2020-09-14 17:05:09 UTC

At least not in the server

2020-09-14 17:08:13 UTC

1st one cause merica last one cause it’s the sleekest

2020-09-14 17:18:38 UTC

@matteo2314 thanks πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

2020-09-14 17:24:32 UTC

I would say 3rd as well because I don’t like anything remotely flashy on my gun

2020-09-14 17:25:03 UTC

Also that gun is pretty cool who makes it?

2020-09-14 17:25:21 UTC

Oh nvm I see cz now

2020-09-14 17:31:14 UTC

@Kaladin yeah it’s a CZ Rami 2075, I have the Decocker model. The gun is kinda plain, not a lot you can do with it. That’s why I don’t mind a little flash on this one

2020-09-14 17:32:22 UTC

@Kaladin best EDC pistol imo. You need to replace the recoil spring pretty much from day one but that’s the only problem it has. Shoots amazing

2020-09-14 17:33:56 UTC

Go for number 2 then for a bit of flash but still professional look

2020-09-14 17:34:51 UTC

How does it compare in size to the sig p365? Idk if you have ever held one in person or not so you may not be able to give a comparison idk

2020-09-14 17:40:17 UTC

@Kaladin lol yes I have experience with a p365, it was actually the gun I traded in to buy this gun. The p365 is a good bit smaller. However, size was not my concern. I appendix carry and I feel that a double action is much much safer than a striker fire. Gun nuts will tell you the gun is as safe as you are but we are all human and mistakes happen when you start to get comfortable in your routine.
