Im currently a teen, and if I shot an M1 I might break my shoulder. I have such a skinny body type and Im also pretty small for my age.

so if I ever will shoot one I'd probably have to be a good bit older

First off if you were carrying into battle you wouldn't think of the weight, specially if it was the standard of the time. B if you are shooting it recreationaly the weight won't matter.. 3 with a heavy rifle the 30 06 doesn't carry momentum to feel to uncomfortabe or hard to handle..... Blue, m1 is american history and would love the opportunity to own a ww2 classic

@Odb I'd say the price difference is because of where the helmet is coming from. I'd be inclined to shy away from the really cheap ones unless you can verify that they're just cutting you a good deal.

@Scott_Cole I’ve done a lot of research since I last posted. A lot of people are shitting on HHV type helmets, they keep saying they will stop the bullet but apparently they have an issue with being deformation. They’re saying you’re going to get a cracked skull.

@Odb Figures, are you wanting something to just protect your noggin or do you want the rails too?

@Scott_Cole well I think rails would be nice for those clip on hearing protection. I personally am not a fan of shooting rifles with just ear plugs, I like to double up. Why? Did you have something in mind? I’m open to suggestions
