@Identity crisis the plane romanian?
@Gaberino What part of 5.56 are you nervous about? Not being mean but 5.56 kicks like nothing if that is what you are worried about. I get more recoil from my 9mm sub compact carry pistol then I do shooting 5.56
Now if by lighter you mean weight, I don't know enough about AR9 to know how much less it would weight.
5.56 is the most tame rifle round
Also superiour in every measurable way to 9mm
Oh
I see
If you have ever shot a 22 rifle before, it's basically the same in terms of recoil.
Oh
That's a lot less than i thought
I'll try it out next time i go shooting
I can understand why you would think it would be more if you have never shot one before. First time I shot a friend's AR 15 I was mentally prepared for recoil and was taken aback when there was next to none.
Yeah i was kinda intimidated by the size of it compared to 9mm
But it seems manageable
I'll definitely try it out
@Stargatemaster96 thanks
Glad to help, now you just have the problem of find parts and ammo during this time.
That's gonna be tough
Ikr 1000 rounds going 1000 dollars is rough
Oof
1$ a round
jeez 556 is that much rn? thats comparable to some high-power rounds. o-o
Ouch, I still don't have my AR15 yet because I'm still waiting for parts but I at least have been able to get 1000 rounds of 5.56 XM193 at 59 cents a round. Really overpriced but not that overpriced.
Yeah the range i went to doesn't let you rapid fire or shoot steel core
What's really bad is I have an alert for 223 Wolf Polyformance and last time it went in stock it was 49 cents a round. Sorry but your cheap russian imported steel case training ammo that should be at most about 20 cents a round.
steel core and steel case are not the same thing, just fyi. Steel case refers to the case that holds the primer and propellent. steel core means the bullet itself has a steel penetrator in it.
I know, I was more referring to price.
Looks like a sword
Or a dagger of some sort
you can tell b/c the case is grey/silver and not brass
I use steel case for most things because I don't reload but I don't think any of my ammo is steel core. Doing steel casing just saves you some money if you don't reload.
Even my defense ammo is steel case.
David, sorry I know you were talking about prices. I was just replying to Gaberino.
and ye, steel case is great for its affordability.
I see
Thanks im new to all this
np m8. tbf, I have been into guns since I was 9 and I still am learning every day.
Wow
Funny things is i can get steel core cheaper then 1 dollar a round
