these look great

2020-11-24 18:37:26 UTC

Yeah I'm going to get some in the summer after I get a car.

2020-11-24 18:38:00 UTC

My only problem is I still can't locate the life span listed anywhere for the Hesco.

2020-11-24 18:38:21 UTC

Should be able to find that. One moment.

2020-11-24 18:38:31 UTC

the lifespan is typically only for the adhesives right? or does that include any synthetics used?

2020-11-24 18:39:11 UTC

Looks like 5-7 years david.

2020-11-24 18:40:07 UTC

That's just the Warranty period, not shelf life.

2020-11-24 18:40:08 UTC

thanks equal

2020-11-24 18:40:35 UTC

Is the shelf life longer, 5 years is quite short for an investment like that.

2020-11-24 18:41:09 UTC

tbf, its cheaper than a netflix sub.

2020-11-24 18:41:15 UTC

Particularly when I'm wanting the 3+

2020-11-24 18:41:34 UTC

That's just the warranty period the can last longer as long as they stay dry which they should sense there wrapped.

2020-11-24 18:42:09 UTC

That is a photo of a 3+ wear face from Hesco

2020-11-24 18:42:17 UTC

I'm in college so long term investment with my limited graduate stipend is important to me.

2020-11-24 18:42:27 UTC

I feel you bro

2020-11-24 18:42:35 UTC

about to be in the same boat myself.

2020-11-24 18:44:31 UTC

They are waterproof so out of all the ceramic plates these would probably last the longest. I understand I am pinching pennies to be able to buy a car in the spring so I can get to work.

2020-11-24 18:45:12 UTC

https://www.hesco.com/contact/

Give them a call and ask.

2020-11-24 18:46:27 UTC

I do not see reliable sources about shelf life online.

2020-11-24 18:53:28 UTC

To my knowledge, at this moment in time, and the best of my research. If you take care if your ceramic plate, they'll last pretty much forever.

It seems to be a CYA against defects or user error past the five years warranty period.

Also @Stargatemaster96 , it seems most level IV plates have a 20 year warranty period.

2020-11-24 18:56:20 UTC

Additional info that seems to align with most veterans who talk about these things:

2020-11-24 18:56:29 UTC

Hope that helps...

2020-11-24 18:59:17 UTC

Wow you really dug for answers good job dude.

2020-11-24 19:01:25 UTC

duckduckgo.com for uncensored web searches.

2020-11-24 19:03:06 UTC

brave is just as good

2020-11-24 19:04:45 UTC

I just searched because I know brave browser but not search engine. Only thing I found was an article by the brave browser that recommended duck duck go because it doesn't track you.

2020-11-24 19:06:31 UTC

I use multiple OSes over 5 or so devices. So a duckduckgo.com website with a firefox browser that's been locked down and HTTPS locked is my go to.

2020-11-24 19:08:01 UTC

(I am brought to you today by the Wonderful World of Linux. The word of the day is "console"...)

2020-11-24 20:08:48 UTC

duck duck go is a decent search engine for sure

2020-11-24 20:09:38 UTC

at first I thought I accidentally clicked on <#766007595881463879> <:KEK:726877368601411624>

2020-11-24 20:47:56 UTC

For Hesco body armor, do you need a trama pad? Most of my research in the past was with AR500 which obviously needs trama pads if you still want ribs.

2020-11-24 20:58:57 UTC

No you shouldn't need trauma pads. As long as it says standalone plate.

2020-11-24 20:58:58 UTC

Any thoughts on beaver creek AR parts? Or olmega tactical?

2020-11-24 21:11:31 UTC

Do you guys have a preferred brand for 123 batteries?

2020-11-24 21:21:51 UTC

Energizer but that is what's on sale at batteries plus often which is where I usually get my batteries.

2020-11-24 21:25:00 UTC

Gotcha thanks

2020-11-24 21:48:06 UTC

Beaver creek makes good stuff, more flash/show but good parts

2020-11-24 22:01:10 UTC

Can I share my roses here

2020-11-24 22:02:09 UTC

Your roses?
