Lie down?

2020-11-04 21:16:36 UTC

Lie down was fancy word for sex

2020-11-04 21:16:49 UTC

I think it’s the other way around

2020-11-04 21:18:03 UTC

And yes, I've read supposedly direct translations of the Hebrew texts and googled the words to make sure they meant what the site meant it says

2020-11-04 21:19:13 UTC

People act like it's up for debate but it's really not
In order for you to interpret the gay passages differently, you'd have to reinterpret significant portions of the Bible if I remember correctly

2020-11-04 21:22:55 UTC

For the Pope to say that it's not contradictory against the Bible tells me everything I need to know about the Catholic church right now to be honest

2020-11-04 21:23:16 UTC

You can’t be inherently gay and Christian; and the pope isn’t Christian..

2020-11-04 21:23:24 UTC

He's not

2020-11-04 21:23:41 UTC

I think it's impossible to embrace the homosexual life style and be a Christian, yes.

2020-11-04 21:24:53 UTC

That was my argument lol

2020-11-04 21:24:54 UTC

Which is why I don't. The only reason I'm more open about what I struggle with these days is that our media constantly tells us that all "gay" people are a) Democratic b) bullied by Christians c) totally fine and proof that Christianity is evil

2020-11-04 21:24:59 UTC

Yeah, lol

2020-11-04 21:25:29 UTC

I was just saying there’s a difference between having gay thoughts and being 100% gay

2020-11-04 21:26:11 UTC

Tbh, I was pretty blatant with how I talked and I've attended church since I was a baby. I was literally only fooling myself. Was I a bit of an outcast? Sure. Was I treated worse by liberals at college? Yes.

Exactly

2020-11-04 21:27:47 UTC

They say science is on their side too and the reality is that the history of science isn't so clear cut with homosexuality and that it's essentially been decided instead of actually researched, mainly because we've taken God and spirituality out of the picture in favor of secularism

2020-11-04 21:30:07 UTC

You can say that no one who partakes in homosexual behavior can change, but only if you ignore the fact that there hasn't been a whole lot of research into a lot of crucial areas of sexuality. We also have to keep into account that we as a nation are no longer Christian and that it makes sense that you wouldn't be able to find "gays who converted." Because there are so few actual Christians at this point and an even smaller pool of ones who may struggle with homosexuality, it's impossible to gauge whether or not it's possible to switch

2020-11-04 21:31:24 UTC

Christianity is a straight and narrow path by its own admission, no extremely dark but slightly humorous pun intended

2020-11-04 21:31:46 UTC

Of the Christians who DO try and seek change, many are unwilling to come forward with their story

2020-11-04 21:35:49 UTC

Sexuality isn't real an issue until u hit puberty

2020-11-05 00:00:34 UTC

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

2020-11-05 01:36:24 UTC

In the bible it says that in the end times, people will be lovers of evil. The left love evil. This is horrible

2020-11-05 03:09:14 UTC

Pray for Trump!

2020-11-05 03:37:10 UTC

We must remember that Christ told us not to worry about tomorrow.
We must give all of our worry and anxiety to Him.
This world is not our home. For He prepares a place for us in Heaven. Whether by rapture or earthly death, if we are saved, we shall be with Him in paradise. He will wipe away every tear.
We are in the world but not of the world.

2020-11-05 03:38:17 UTC

I think even us Christians have gotten too caught up in this world, relying too much on man instead of God.

2020-11-05 03:40:13 UTC

"Relying too much on man instead of God." That's what I needed to hear. Thank you!

2020-11-05 03:41:10 UTC

God has the world in the palm of his hands

2020-11-05 03:41:19 UTC

very comforting to know

2020-11-05 03:44:03 UTC

Christ voluntarily was beaten, mocked, spit on, whipped, then forced to carry His own execution cross to the place of His execution, where He was nailed to the cross and hung up there for hours.
Beforehand, He was so scared He sweat blood. For He was both 100% man and 100% God, He knew what was about to happen, and was scared.
But He went peacefully with the accusers, even healed one of them. Asked for God the Father to forgive them while He was dying on the cross.

He did this not for 'us', but for **you**. Each one of us individually.

2020-11-05 03:45:07 UTC

Not as a whole, but personally

2020-11-05 03:47:34 UTC

We can't comprehend what level of love that would take. We were the ones who sinned, He didn't have to do anything. But He did.
He paid the debt that we never could. Receiving no benefit for Himself.

2020-11-05 03:49:48 UTC

I may have gotten a bit carried away there with all of that, that happens sometimes while I talk about what God did for us. Sorry for being a little spam-y

2020-11-05 03:54:08 UTC

Very true 👍

“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these." Matthew 6:25-34

I like this channel.

2020-11-05 07:19:54 UTC

That is actually interesting.

2020-11-05 07:25:28 UTC

I chose this name [Dominexis] rather recently as a replacement for my old name. With this one, I wanted to devote it to God.
My birth name means "the Lord exists," and that in Latin is "Dominum existat." I combined these words to form Dominexis. So whenever someone says my name, they declare the existence of the Almighty Lord.
Domin[Lord]exis[exists]

2020-11-05 07:25:56 UTC

Wow! Very cool!

2020-11-05 07:55:11 UTC

Amen, Dominexis, Amen

2020-11-05 12:38:25 UTC

Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. Romans 13:1-4

Fun fact: Dwight D Eisenhower (34th president) was the one who decided to put “In god we trust” on the US currency. He also was baptized while in office.
