God never created evil

when God made everything he said it was good

evil and pain are not good things, and so they were not in his original creation

but when adam and eve sinned they introduced sin into the world which brought evil and pain with it

I see parallels between the Creation story and real life. As children, we have no concept of financial responsibility or real world issues that we need burden ourselves with.
