My main is NKJV thou as a kid I memorized many of the verses I know in KJV.

2020-12-03 16:04:51 UTC

Stick with the (old) King James Bible! You'll never go wrong with it. All others have many problems.

2020-12-03 16:05:33 UTC

Yes I concur

2020-12-03 16:25:22 UTC

A priest too.

2020-12-03 16:45:31 UTC

Well, you won't last long if that's how you feel.

2020-12-03 16:46:00 UTC

2020-12-03 16:46:45 UTC

That's not the reason for the warn. He sent a few posts that were not English.

2020-12-03 16:47:00 UTC

2020-12-03 16:50:23 UTC

could you explain further, because i believe its good to use different versions when doing a deep study of the bible

2020-12-03 16:51:08 UTC

i do like the KJV so dont get me wrong

2020-12-03 16:55:22 UTC
2020-12-03 16:55:43 UTC

both old Hebrew and English

2020-12-03 16:59:41 UTC

i go there lol

2020-12-03 17:42:13 UTC

I think the KJV is best since it’s closest to the original texts. Less altered over time, y’know? There are great things in every version but I just think that one is the most original.

2020-12-03 19:05:05 UTC

I'll sometimes switch to NIV when I'm having a hard time understanding something because of the language but KJV/NKJV is my main. If your reading with a non believer or new believer, the older language of KJV is sometimes I believe an unnecessary barrier.

2020-12-03 19:49:09 UTC

i also like the amplified version because it makes things more clearer that are harder to understand

2020-12-03 19:59:35 UTC

I use the NASB Bible

2020-12-03 21:54:18 UTC

I use the NIV for easier comprehension

2020-12-03 21:56:14 UTC

(remember these commandments and keep them in your heart.) Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22:37-40 NKJV

2020-12-04 00:24:57 UTC

Good night and thank you. Jesus loves us.

2020-12-04 03:57:22 UTC

I'll pray for you brother!

2020-12-04 05:30:29 UTC

One with many problems is the QJV

2020-12-04 06:45:27 UTC

We got a faith section, nice!

2020-12-04 06:46:52 UTC

It’s quite nice to find a legit safe place. ^^

2020-12-04 14:41:37 UTC

Yeah this is a pretty epic channel

2020-12-04 14:52:39 UTC

@Zallis The Pokemon No problem! It's a very big subject to explain about my statement that people ought to stick with the KJB as opposed to any other version in English. I can explain much of it if you'll DM me, but I do recommend checking out https://www.chick.com/information/article-listing?subject=bible+versions which has a lot of helpful research on the subject. I encourage getting the books on the subject offered there too since it will help you about the subject. There are also YouTube videos they have produced on the subject on their channel, so there is a lot of content to study up on the issue.

@Sturmgeschütz III Ausf. D As far as I understand, according to those that put that out, all they did was change the verses that condemn homosexuality. That is so wrong. You do not go changing God's word to fit your problem so it doesn't condemn you anymore. God is not like a Mr. Potato Head that we can arrange what we want Him to be like to suit our whims.

2020-12-04 16:32:17 UTC

for what it's worht i use the new living translation 🙂

2020-12-04 17:15:18 UTC

You know, I'd recommend reading the bible in an easier to read translation. Then going back and re-reading it in king james because king james can be hard to understand at times. (Though the difficulty reading makes you focus on what the word is *actually saying*)

2020-12-04 17:32:28 UTC

yeah thats why i use NLT :p it makes it easy to understand the subtle nuances in the language that is harder for me to pick up in the older english
