@Plague Doctor Lawrence If you need info, let me know: year make model.
It’s a 1987 Acura Integra LS hatchback sedan DOHC.
My step grandpa came over and the left side rack gasket and boot are gone.
Turning the wheel is like turning on a faucet.
So the seal in the rack is toast? Only will do the faucet thing in one direction...
Steering fluid splashes down.
Yep. Seen that. Seen worse...
>20 years fixing broke cars.
I know the Integra is based off of the Civic but I can only hope they have enough parts in common to keep finding them...
The engine is the “brown top” 1.6 liter twin cam 16 valve.
No worries. Integra is popular enough you should be fine for parts.
Not the first generation sadly... Most parts I can find are for the 90’s models...
And with how old it is my Mom might need me to get a newer car...
She doesn’t want me to have a money pit like when she and Dad had an E70 Toyota Corolla...
Got new wheels and tires on the ‘66
Sweet!
Helo
Cool
Notice the rearview mirror on the roof!
Life-sized Hot Wheels Twin Mill
Why does this remind me of Hot wheels
Life size hot wheel
That was the first Hot Wheels I ever had!
That looks pretty awesome! But I hate to bring up some bad news...
I think my Mom and Dad are going to make me get a newer car because my current one is too old and it’s in the shop right now getting is power steering rack replaced. I would really like to keep my 1987 Acura Integra but my parents will probably make me sell it. I got the car hoping to learn about mechanics and fixing things, but instead I’m taking it to a garage for every little thing. Now that to repair is is almost what I paid for it even I’m starting to question if I should hang on to it...
Not a car but something I’m working on.
Cute.
That’s awesome
Sweet
Is it okay that I really don’t like new oversized trucks and SUV’s?
These are good trucks.
