Thats a pretty common size tire
The 295/50s are about an inch and a half shorter and an inch wider than what you have
I couldn’t remember if they were 255 or 275, my dad had them on his 1968 impala but he put a disc brakes on it after that they didn’t fit anymore, so we traded wheels. Both of our cars have rally wheels
The rims are 15x8 in the rear.
To change the rear wheels I have to drop the rear shock to get them on/off lmao
My car has 15x10 wheels on all four
The Vette?
Yep
Wow that’s cool
Thats not stock
Someone before me flared the fenders 3 inches
I know, you don’t have the wheel wells to rub like I do
I do, but they just ran more negative offset, lol
That and they’re flared out more
Yeah
I still need to put the rest of the front end together. Tie rods are still out, needs a new idler arm
Sway bar still has to go in
I just half ass put it together because I wanted to see what the new springs would do to the ride height
That’s my dads 68
He loves that car. 396 with a Muncie m20 4 speed
M20 is a good transmission. My car has an M21 waiting to go in it
My 60 has its factory 235.5 with a Muncie m20 and a 3.55-1 rear end
I had my M21 rebuilt and upgraded by a dude
That’s awesome
We put a billet midplate in there, Hurst shifter, countershaft that bolts to the midplate so it can't spin
That’s cool
Stout little box
Sweet
Better be though, I'm like 1800 dollars deep into that thing, lol
I spent 500 on the trans thankfully I didn’t have to rebuild it
Mine came with the car. Was ran low on oil
Here’s my grandmas car
Sweet
66 Caprice
Word of advice, keep your classics stock
Hotrodding is fuckin expensive lol
For sure
