autos are better

2020-10-27 03:08:18 UTC

@Al <3 I have a very similar truck

2020-10-27 03:08:28 UTC

Yeah?

2020-10-27 03:08:38 UTC

That’s neat 😄

2020-10-27 03:12:51 UTC

Oh, nice

2020-10-27 03:14:25 UTC

I kinda wish mine was white

2020-10-27 03:14:44 UTC

Not being racist! I swear! 😂

2020-10-27 03:14:56 UTC

Lol

2020-10-27 03:15:12 UTC

White is just easier to keep looking clean.. especially where I live.

2020-10-27 03:15:32 UTC

I'm learning that it also hides deterioration somewhat well

2020-10-27 03:15:48 UTC

You wouldn't see from the pic, but the paint is cracking in a few places

2020-10-27 03:18:28 UTC

Oh okay.. just another plus 😂 Atm, I use black spray paint to cover the scratches the previous owner left on it 😂

2020-10-27 03:19:03 UTC

I need to hit my cracking areas with touch-up paint

2020-10-27 03:19:44 UTC

This thing is almost as close to a brand new truck as you'll find for its age

2020-10-27 03:19:59 UTC

That’s awesome

2020-10-27 03:20:04 UTC

I rebuilt the suspension, lot of the engine accessories are new

2020-10-27 03:20:20 UTC

Still hasn't even hit 100,000 miles

2020-10-27 03:22:48 UTC

Damn, what year is it?

2020-10-27 03:22:55 UTC

'98

2020-10-27 03:23:27 UTC

Yours is either a 98, 99 or 2000

2020-10-27 03:23:40 UTC

That’s impressive.. mine is a 99

2020-10-27 03:23:59 UTC

It has over 200,000 miles on it..

2020-10-27 03:24:08 UTC

Take care of em, they last

2020-10-27 03:24:31 UTC

True. It runs really well still.

2020-10-27 03:24:33 UTC

Ping me if you ever need help with it. I've gotten quite familiar with these trucks

2020-10-27 03:25:01 UTC

Thanks! I appreciate it.

2020-10-27 03:25:15 UTC

My knowledge is worthless if I do not share it

2020-10-27 03:26:10 UTC

Besides, if you're willing to get your hands dirty, they're easy trucks to wrench on and you can save a shitload of money by doing the work yourself

2020-10-27 03:27:19 UTC

Yeah. My dad has been helping me with it a lot.

2020-10-27 03:27:32 UTC

He fixed the caliper for me 😂

2020-10-27 03:28:24 UTC

He’s been teaching me some about fixing it up

2020-10-27 03:28:47 UTC

Your dad sounds like a smart man looking out for his daughter

2020-10-27 03:29:08 UTC

I envy you in a way

2020-10-27 03:30:48 UTC

He is indeed.. and how so?

2020-10-27 03:31:20 UTC

My folks never taught me anything in the way of practical skillsets when I was a kid. I had to go discover everything I know now on my own

2020-10-27 03:31:55 UTC

The skill level I would have today if I would've gotten started doing what I'm doing now a few years earlier...

2020-10-27 03:33:39 UTC

I’m sorry to hear that.. with that said, I’m impressed with your knowledge and motivation

2020-10-27 03:34:04 UTC

Heh. Thanks

2020-10-27 03:34:27 UTC

I like to think I've learned a few things in my life, and I have, but really I know just enough to know that I don't know shit
