Guys let me clarify what I meant when I said Catholic. The Catholic Church has had a huge scandal child abuse, it’s unfortunate but many molesters used the disguise of being a respected church leader to my last children. I meant no insult to Catholics at all, But I guess that didn’t come out very well in my wording, so I just wanted to clarify

nearly all religions in their churches/temples/mosques are corrupt on some level ....theres the basic decent preachers of each faith that have no clue, but those in power tend to be the ones abusing the 'faith' for their own advantage

sometimes when an exposed preacher from one faith gets moved to another 'parish' in another state or district to avoid bad press....eventually they reach a point where they have to change their identity or change their faith to keep practicing their crimes under guise of 'good faith'

Well in the end, it's not because of the Bible or Christianity that people do terrible things such as in the catholic church. Nowhere in the bible does it command people to be kid diddlers. It's merely the corruption and evil embedded in human nature to fill ones selfish evil sinful desires. On the other hand, you have the Quran that teaches other things that might bring about that kind of thing or evil. You always have to go to the core teachings of religions to see why someone of that faith would believe doing whatever it is they are doing is okay.

Especially considering what the bible teaches and the teachings of Jesus are.

Dont put faith in a malleable human being in other words. Too many do so, and then leave the faith when their pastor "fails" them.

But honestly, it's idiotic to make a blanket statement about more than half the planet because of a few bad ones of a certain faith unless that faith inadvertently encourages evil behaviour.

I would say that anyone who follows Islam and doesnt, should have issues with what it teaches though, and who the teacher of it is because of what he did and taught people to do.

@little hollow u can compare the two scriptures...and what each religion teaches. The bible is very clear it condemns pedos (Matthew 18:6). Whereas the quran lets pedos marry and or divorce girls before they menstruate (At-Talaq 65:4). So a pedo is a bad christian according to christianity or a pedo is a good muslim according to islam.
