Reguardless of social class and other factors. If you put in enough hard work, you can achieve the American dream

2020-12-19 06:43:55 UTC

degree.... i dont think that now a days (mostly the leftist) are valuing it

2020-12-19 06:43:57 UTC

It would like how one uses their opportunity and another didnt but I see what your saying

2020-12-19 06:43:57 UTC

like

2020-12-19 06:44:13 UTC

sure. but it also depends on how you present yourself, no? a person with degree that fumbles or unable to do a good interview might not get the job, comparing to the one without, yet have a slick/smooth, charismatic interview

2020-12-19 06:44:36 UTC

Then that's adding another variable to the mix. I try to keep things as simple as possible. If one did have more work experience, then it depends on the job.

2020-12-19 06:44:43 UTC

i really don't think uni actually helps as much as we like to think

2020-12-19 06:45:05 UTC

In Australia and other similar countries? Yes.

2020-12-19 06:45:12 UTC

but wouldnt it depend on the person also... i mean who has the degree

2020-12-19 06:45:14 UTC

like

2020-12-19 06:45:20 UTC

sure. then it also depends on whether the interviewer values work experience over degree?

2020-12-19 06:45:24 UTC

It's only good to appear good on resumes

2020-12-19 06:45:38 UTC

you lie your way through to get a job lol

2020-12-19 06:46:03 UTC

I saw a CBC marketplace on fake degrees

2020-12-19 06:46:08 UTC

the people that i have talked with, the ones who have degree... i came to found out there are 2 kinds of people

2020-12-19 06:46:17 UTC

Would the person with the degree who had more experience not have a better presentation of themselves? I understand the point though, it does raise a good point.

2020-12-19 06:46:23 UTC

I'm wondering how many show hosts have fame degrees lmao

2020-12-19 06:46:49 UTC

It adds more complication to the mix. Yes, it depends on this.

2020-12-19 06:46:54 UTC

1. they are determine and have aspiration and know what and how to use the degree they have
and 2 is.... they are the ones they just do it for it is a degree

2020-12-19 06:47:06 UTC

well. i guess in this scenario (if we really really want to eliminate all variables), we'd need to assume two exact persons (going through everything the same), except one drops out and doesn't have a degree and the other passes

2020-12-19 06:47:13 UTC

People who get gender study degrees <:KEK:726877368601411624>

2020-12-19 06:47:45 UTC

now where are we gonna use that.... for portesting and useless factless debates

2020-12-19 06:47:46 UTC

People who get gender study degrees can only teach gender study degrees using their degree.

2020-12-19 06:48:04 UTC

There are way too many variables and its impossible to have equal chances since crappy teacher is making people dumb, lack of supporting parents

2020-12-19 06:48:17 UTC

not just that.... they cause use it for protesting and debating <:KEK:726877368601411624>

2020-12-19 06:48:21 UTC

So like 1 in 80

2020-12-19 06:48:28 UTC

my dad has zero english skills or degree in canada but he got a ton of experience & quick-learning skills. he got accepted and within 3 years was earning more than his younger colleagues

2020-12-19 06:48:35 UTC

Y'all remember the redhead sjw

2020-12-19 06:48:44 UTC

since we mention gender....

2020-12-19 06:48:49 UTC

Things might've been different back then, and definitely

2020-12-19 06:48:56 UTC

As a job, I should have said.

2020-12-19 06:49:09 UTC

oh no. that was 3 years ago lol. he got a raised just last week

2020-12-19 06:49:26 UTC

Lucky him, then. Sometimes that can't happen, and things have changed a lot.

2020-12-19 06:49:26 UTC

in my country they are planning to include gender studies it the syllabus..

2020-12-19 06:49:29 UTC

2020-12-19 06:49:53 UTC

Does she use her ag. degree? (in daycare)

2020-12-19 06:49:54 UTC

2020-12-19 06:49:56 UTC

But she came here with a degree so

2020-12-19 06:50:11 UTC

Not a total waste since my parents are very good farmers
