I don't even use my twitter account all that much, but I guess it's time to get a Parler account. Not sure how I'll manage that since I can't exactly get text easily, but I'll figure it out. My brother has an account already (and doesn't have twitter, never has), so if all else fails, he'll have access.
I think I'll go see if I can download Parler on my mom's iPad, too (older iPad, so it may or may not be compatible).
She doesn't even use social media, but it couldn't hurt to have the option.

I got it downloaded on mine, but I can't locate hers, so I'll ask her when she comes home. It's an iPad 2, so I don't have a clue if it can download the app in the first place.
The process should be as simple as other iOS devices, I think (idk because I don't use Apple devices anymore), but the main issue is urgency because Apple gave a 24-hour ultimatum that if Parler doesn't censor free speech (essentially), Parler gets nuked from the App Store, and then you're completely fucked on iOS.
