I was hoping to get peoples thoughts on all this. I’m a physician hospitalist meaning I work just in the hospital caring for admitted patients. I’ve cared for multiple Covid patients and pretty sure I had it myself 2 months ago. I enjoy this channel and agree with much of it but curious about things like calling it a hoax. So what do people and their friends/family think of Covid? Deadly disease? Convenient political cover? Have you lost trust in the healthcare system or science (or maybe never had it)? Anything. I’m not looking for an argument, just curious about people’s thoughts.

In my opinion it's real, but nowhere near as deadly as people think and not worth the international panic that it garnered.

@Madbrewer I guess the way I talk about COVID-19 makes it sound like a hoax. But I do believe it to be real to an extent. I guess what I'm truly calling a hoax is the media. If the riots never occurred, it never would have raised my suspicions that our governments and media are flexing tyranny. I do think the science of COVID-19 is too young. They broke the constitution in California in the name of covid, giving priority to rioters and that was a bell ringer. The riots are the main reason I lost faith in all things related to COVID-19. I have friends that are vets that also refuse to follow regulations when they seek their medical help. And have made the decision to go towards holistic medicine.

Also, the same week the United states was ready to reopen up was exactly when the riots began. The initial quarantine brought a lot of Unity, imo. The riots ignited hatred everywhere. And that was very suspicious.

I have not lost trust in science. I believe science contradicts everything about COVID-19.

It's probably more difficult for you to see what's going on because you are probably working all the time and able to work. But us that have been staying home as a result of this and do our own research and are able to get a hold of research are seeing how much bullshit is going on.

@Madbrewer Initially there was a lot of talk about the rona at my work since most of the people there are cnn sheeple. I truly believe that the virus was here in november. I remember the doctor office, the immediate care, and the er was always packed with people. i believe that i had it in January and i was diagnosed with an unknow respiratory infection although i tested negative for the antibodies last month. i don't believe that the virus is a hoax, and i know people have died from it, but i've also seen plenty of evidence to say that the numbers are wrong... way wrong and that they do not differentiate dying from it and dying with it, but that does fit the left's narrative of how deadly the virus is, and how President Trump did nothing about it. as far as the media and the left pushing the panic.. ABSOLUTLEY. I am not prone to panic, and once i saw grown people at work panicking and spreading rumors about food shortages, martial law, and quarantine, and lathering sanitizing gel OVER their gloves, i knew it was pure bullshit. One guy short circuited the phone from spraying it down with alcohol, another would spray down the microwave buttons before touching it everytime! spray, touch, spray touch, spray, etc. democrats love taking advantage of these situations; never let a crisis go to waste they say. This is about the election, period. I think the most powerful thing the left has done in this situation is keep people in fear, keep them wearing masks, and keep them out of the polling place. It's a subtle con, but everyone walking around in a mask is a powerful subliminal message to make people think they are in immanent danger of death. I predict this is all over in november. sorry for the long rant.

^^^This. Only I don't work in the medical field so I saw things from a different perspective than that, but reached the same conclusion.

In fact, I think my whole family got it, but because of all the information we've seen over the last months, we decided not to go to the hospital or get tested for anything. We just don't trust the system right now, even though we know there are good docs and nurses out there. It sucked majorly, yeah, but having the flu in the past was overall worse imo. We all recovered great at home.

Again, it's absolutely not to discount it existing and that it can indeed be deadly to some folks...but this whole thing has become such a power trip it's almost unreal.

I had seen articles in November and October of Wuhan closing down. I don't know how I'll dig that back up. I don't think Donald Trump is to blame for anything as these things happen ALL the time. I remember the "Ebola outbreak" a few years ago and my local clinics and hospital having warning signs up for an African disease that cannot spread very easily. And my family and I believe we got the virus back in January as well. If I recall correctly, we were beginning to slow down transport from China in January. So, I don't believe we responded poorly. I have no clue what drove us to panic in March.

i live in the city, a dem controlled city...i walk around barefoot and maskless most of the time...i'd get so many looks from locals and those passing thru even on trash day, the only time i wear shoes and/or masks during the 'rona' is if i have to go to walmart or some other big chain store

i asked one of my neighbors why they got the masks on such a nice day with fresh air outside(they were hardcore dems) while i walked up to them barefoot and maskless, one tried to reply, but the other said to the first one this - forget it, he's immune
