^^^ no i'm actually thinking similarly to Mark
Are you proposing a conservative, like, city?
or area w/in a city, etc.
that would be a great idea
but it's kinda already happened in rural areas tho
Then how do you regulate the flow of ideas?
but i thought about buying up small businesses and using the cashflow to promote conservative ideas
It'd be hard to maintain that exclusivity
i guess your plan means making rural conservative areas in city hub but remains conservative?
exactly. especially if it becomes a city hub. people will naturally come in
That's what it sounds like to me?
similar to me too 👀
i'm not opposing the idea of buying up small businesses, but i'm wondering about the scale
If you are talking about a counter-culture movement of sorts, to push back at the progressives, that'd be dangerous
buying up lands?
Buying land? Like city blocks?
neithon said he's planning to buy/created small businesses
I'm just worried about some of this ^^^
@Ranger_720 I thought about building the financial base to oppose the commies by buying small businesses as a group
Like a small business conservative union?
That could be cool
something like that
but are the businesses concentrated in one area or across the country?
Probably both
It could even be an extension of national republican organizations
aimed at funding conservative businesses, especially those that face a lack of funding for their views
i mean, i'm not opposed to it. i think that's a good idea
i can work as a safety net for conservative businesses too
same same, it's more of the implementation
yeah
fair enough
because how do you know which is "conservative businesses"?
people could have a gun store and are still raging progressives
As soon as you set that up, it's going to be "The RNC, Turning Point USA, etc. (whichever group theoretically supports this) is supporting white supremacist businesses"
it might be better if it's supporting small businesses in general imo
<@333424381156130818> but the public doesn't have to know
because small businesses need a safety net anyway, and if the program that helps them lean conservative, they can buy in easier
How would you keep that sort of thing private
^^^ exactly
