I watch Tim Pool because he’s actually a pretty good news reporter. I know one of his best friends from the podcast is a Trump supporter now. I don’t know his name but his nickname is “Soy Jesus”.

I don't agree with a lot of his opinions and there's quite a few times that I have to turn him off. But, he is a pretty good reporter and I watch the majority of his podcasts.

These politicians don't just randomly say this stuff...they are partly doing it to get elected and maintain their power

...they wouldn't say it if there wasn't a massive base of people who think like this

At some point it partly feeds into itself...there are incentives in place to (over time) dramatically exaggerate victimhood ever since the left started adopting identity politics more heavily

The politicians exaggerate the narrative to cater to the most politically motivated, the media supports that narrative to install the politicians they support, which turns the average people with those views more extreme...pushing the extreme further down the hysterical rabbit hole

And it continues feeding itself.

I think a large part of it is because we were originally told they wouldn't help...and now many people are just kind of like "fuck off already"

They do help, the CDC only said they didn't so there wouldn't be a supply shortage for doctors early on.
