I dont make these stories up
Truth is stranger than fiction
"Work from home! Make less money!"
"Sign me up for that!", said no one ever...
Ok in all fairness it is from what I read a tax on ppl who choose to work from home but
@DishonoredRonin I would disagree in my job cut my pay 1 or 2 bucks and just call me when you need me
Did you have a choice?
Or was it a ... take it or go find another job?
I spent all last Friday playing pokemon go and watching youtube
Lol... sounds fun 🤷🏽♂️
Gets super boring trust me
...And the one guy kills my joke. LOL
I washed a truck I was so bored trying to find something to do
Yeah... I hear ya. I rather stay busy at work myself. Makes the day fly by
Try being forced to stop work entirely.
Yes hecks yes.. .i would rather a main break than trying to avoid my boss
I live in the country. Government yoinked my license, and I'm on Disability.
I was forced to stop work when corona first popped up. I put a broom under my chin cause you can only sweep 1 floor so many times in 4 months
So No work, no going anywhere on my own, no choice in the matter.
That blows ronin
Because they mean, like I do, no reasonable choice.
It's five miles to the nearest small town. An epileptic like me isn't going to walk that.
Am I wrong to ask people to say what they mean?
Sort of? Because the English language is imprecise.
Yet you found a way to actually communicate what you meant....
Sorry if I seem mean ronin I do not mean to
If you want me to start communicating only in precise technical terms, you'll get tired of it fairly quickly.
No, you sound like a pompous ass.
If I were using flowery hyperbole then I could see your point.
Ok so I am sorry for the pompous ass I do not mean it im just an pompous ass
But I'm using basic conversational English, and no one else is having a hard time grasping the intent of my words.
👀 🕳
In less fancy words: "Words are my sword. *You* are an ass."
I speaky no Engrish
Also bear in mind that I'm translating in my head every time I type, because English is my second language.
Oh one of those haha I love esl
The one I was taught as a child growing up not only doesn't translate into English well, it doesn't even have an alphabet in common.
One of my best memories of recent is a Chinese friend who just came over calling me to ask me is "you have a good head on your shoulders" a compliment or not
I have bad grammar
