they do, and i think part of that is some being forced into that kind of ideology as children, and a huge part of it is them undergoing these things before their minds are fully developed.

i couldnt imagine anyone back in the day forcing this kind of ideology on their kids, NOW though?

we are going to have issues in like 10 years

if they want to think they should be the opposite gender when they are younger, like 15 or something, fine. but let them age, mature, develop, and become adults before they are allowed to act on it. then we can make sure these people dont jump the gun (like with a phase that many children go through in some capacity) and ruin their lives

transgender surgery is pretty trash right now, and has a lot of botched cases, and definitely ruins lives.

My problem is when you get a transformation surgery to “change your gender” it might destroy your urinary tract, hormone blockers would screw up your body and it would give you poor health

its not simply "changing your gender" its literal mutilation, especially with the level our medical science is currently at

the friends i have, i would be very upset to see them ruin their lives or get some sort of botched results and regret it

if they want too when theyre 21 (again, the age i think it should be allowed at) then thats up to them

I mean I’d still like them as a person but I wouldn’t support what they do, but it’s their business

but this brings us back full circle to the education system, specifically sex ed, in schools needing a complete reform

i learned jack shit in sex ed at my school. i learned more in previous years from...... my antics, as well as the internet lmao.

people with gender dysphoria dont need sex change surgery, they need medicine for their mental disorder

While i dont want to be harsh, i do agree. Gender Dysphoria is a mental disorder (and i cant believe it was declassified as one a couple years ago) and mutilating yourself SHOULD NOT be the first attempt at solving it

now i dont think we should try to "reeducate" them or anything..... but its a mental disorder that proper education, and possibly medicine (just like you would do with depression) cna help them.

It just doing transgender surgery is extremely dangerous and unnecessary
