its not simply "changing your gender" its literal mutilation, especially with the level our medical science is currently at
the friends i have, i would be very upset to see them ruin their lives or get some sort of botched results and regret it
if they want too when theyre 21 (again, the age i think it should be allowed at) then thats up to them
I mean I’d still like them as a person but I wouldn’t support what they do, but it’s their business
but this brings us back full circle to the education system, specifically sex ed, in schools needing a complete reform
i learned jack shit in sex ed at my school. i learned more in previous years from...... my antics, as well as the internet lmao.
people with gender dysphoria dont need sex change surgery, they need medicine for their mental disorder
The way nature intended
imagine not being taughtanything about this, and then forming a thought on the topic based on politics youre exposed too?
Hours of unfiltered internet searching
While i dont want to be harsh, i do agree. Gender Dysphoria is a mental disorder (and i cant believe it was declassified as one a couple years ago) and mutilating yourself SHOULD NOT be the first attempt at solving it
now i dont think we should try to "reeducate" them or anything..... but its a mental disorder that proper education, and possibly medicine (just like you would do with depression) cna help them.
It just doing transgender surgery is extremely dangerous and unnecessary
And it disrupts biology
@Alex Jones Eating Pizza are you lurking, or would you like to jump in on the discussion at all since you helped us get started on the topic?
Tell that to the medical professionals who perfom the surgery
It’s not what nature intended
you could also talk to the medical professionals who perform abortions about the dangers and how wrong it is believed to be by a lot of people.
they dont really care
its sad.
i can agree with that.
> @Alex Jones Eating Pizza are you lurking, or would you like to jump in on the discussion at all since you helped us get started on the topic?
@Wardog sorry I was playing Mario
What's even more sad is the med students who push for the curriculum on abortion rights and how to perfom said procedures
also, Speshel, before we go any further, i dont want to attack what you said but "It's not what nature intended" would that refelct your beliefs on homosexuality? Please forgive me if i insult if i assume something incorrect
@Alex Jones Eating Pizza no worries man, what mario game? super mario maker by any chance?
Mario maker 2
good choice.
The levels get kinda repetitive after a bit
true, i dont have it, but i love watching it on youtube.
I also don’t support homosexuality either, because two men or two women can’t make a baby, and a child needs both a mother and a father to grow up and develop, so I don’t support homosexuality, but I’ll still like the person
gotcha, is that because of religious beliefs or just personally how you feel about the topic?
I’m a Christian but I also use scientific reasoning as well
It’s just not what nature intended
Personally, i have nothing against being gay. Im straight as hell 😂 but i have nothing against being gay. I can agree that "its not as nature intended" but we also see things in nature like Alex Jone's "gay frogs." haha, sometimes not even ones exposed to any alleged chemicals.
how would you explain something like that
because i cant
I don’t hate gay people or anything, I just don’t agree with what they do I hope you don’t see it that way
oh no, not at all.
there are a lot of different people on here with VERY different views. me and you represent a couple, some people also believe being gay to be wrong purely based on a religious stance, and then there are some religious people who are gay on here. we have a lot of different beliefs, angles, and opinions on the topic. i was just curious where you stood with the "nature didnt intend it that way" when we see examples of homosexuality in nature
i dont think its natural, honestly, but i dont think being gay is a choice.
