I think marriage is a good thing, i also support a generic family structure. I dont think men and women necessarily need to fall into gender roles, but a strong family with both parents is needed. Im atheist. But, i dont fully support marriage because of the nasty and despicable things people have done in recent years that ruin their spouse's life.

So I agree, everyone can follow their own creed, even if that means not having one. But I think valuing the endless knowledge found in the bible does so much good for people
