Sorry if this offends anybody but me and my dad have been doing research about my family and we found out that three of my ancestors which all fought in the Civil War even though some had different last names then the one I have some of them even fought in Pickett's Charge if you know what that is

If everyone in California voted, Wed probably be republican

2020-07-07 17:10:03 UTC

Oh dang that's awesome ninja!

2020-07-07 17:10:14 UTC

Hello

2020-07-07 17:10:18 UTC

Heyo?

2020-07-07 17:10:18 UTC

Yeah the Shocker is they all survived

2020-07-07 17:10:19 UTC

*!

2020-07-07 17:10:23 UTC

Was I @ here?

2020-07-07 17:10:25 UTC

No way!

2020-07-07 17:10:27 UTC

That's cool, it's historical

2020-07-07 17:10:30 UTC

That's awesome

2020-07-07 17:10:33 UTC

I was actually shocked to hear that because most even died in the charge

2020-07-07 17:10:43 UTC

Yeah

2020-07-07 17:10:44 UTC

Yes @Jwolf but it was a while ago I think

2020-07-07 17:10:57 UTC

I saw

2020-07-07 17:11:18 UTC

The one that survived until he died at the age of 24 had only one son and that one son carried on my family Legacy the two others died before they had any children which was very unfortunate

2020-07-07 17:11:47 UTC

The closest I have in connection to the civil war is where I live. I go to the cemetery fairly frequently because I'm a weirdo and I like secluded places and it needs cleaning because it's neglected. Anyway, there are two civil war vets buried there, both of whom survived the war. Our city doesn't give a heck though and barely mows the lawn, sadly.

2020-07-07 17:12:17 UTC

They also survived one of the deadliest fires in American history

2020-07-07 17:12:21 UTC

Could be worse they could have remove the Tombstones altogether of the Two Soldiers

2020-07-07 17:12:32 UTC

My family was a bunch of immagrants fromPoland and Italy

2020-07-07 17:12:34 UTC

But still

2020-07-07 17:12:47 UTC

They had to replace one because it was so damaged from neglect

2020-07-07 17:12:58 UTC

We might have relatives who were in America in 1860's but we don't know

2020-07-07 17:12:59 UTC

The other is barely legible but no lie

2020-07-07 17:13:00 UTC

I should look into my connection to the Civil War. All I know is that my family has been in America for 400 years, with someone on the Mayflower on both mom and dads side

2020-07-07 17:13:24 UTC

I am very very white...

2020-07-07 17:13:29 UTC

Lol

2020-07-07 17:13:39 UTC

I'm German-England immigrant descent

2020-07-07 17:13:41 UTC

Yeah I am very white too and I have very very blonde hair

2020-07-07 17:13:43 UTC

All I know is my ancestors came over from Europe in the mid 1700's and that's where my native American ancestry started.

2020-07-07 17:14:01 UTC

I don't know where I got my blonde hair from because it looks like I bleached it but it's all natural and I've never ever dyed my hair and I never will

2020-07-07 17:14:12 UTC

My hair is literally platinum grey

2020-07-07 17:14:14 UTC

I'm 19

2020-07-07 17:14:22 UTC

I've never dyed it

2020-07-07 17:14:25 UTC

wut

2020-07-07 17:14:29 UTC

I'm 14

2020-07-07 17:14:32 UTC

Mine is pitch black, I've never dyed it either.

2020-07-07 17:14:38 UTC

Idk where it came from tbh

2020-07-07 17:14:47 UTC

No one in my family has the same hair

2020-07-07 17:14:47 UTC

Yeah blonde for me and I never dyed it ever

2020-07-07 17:15:00 UTC

My hair is brown, but I'll go grey early just like my grandfather
