The short answer is I believe that fundamentally a worker is entitled to the full product of their labor

2020-10-16 04:51:00 UTC

Explain to me in your own words dragon plz

@Dragoncrash Ben Shapiro debunks why this is stupid

2020-10-16 04:51:36 UTC

You all just give the word when youre fed up with this 👍

2020-10-16 04:51:42 UTC

Ping me

2020-10-16 04:51:43 UTC

Profit is the extraction of excess labor value from the worker: they are then paid a percentage of what their labor is worth in a wage. A capitalist will always pay you for your labor for less than what it’s worth

@Dragoncrash then since it’s capitalism, start your own business

2020-10-16 04:52:13 UTC

@jerpeau I’m not saying we should necessarily end this, but also you and I both know it’s not gonna go anywhere and could potential he go on for two hours with absolutely no results

2020-10-16 04:52:16 UTC

@Dragoncrash
But by offering the job in the first place, they make your labor worth more than it would have otherwise been worth.

2020-10-16 04:52:45 UTC

@Kaladin I'm tryna get some answers hold on

2020-10-16 04:53:03 UTC

@Arkayde No, they simply own the means of production.

2020-10-16 04:53:12 UTC

@Bear so I can slap him with some cold hard facts

2020-10-16 04:53:14 UTC

As a farmer, I can grow a lot more wheat with a tractor and combine than I can with a hoe and scythe. That's the added value of capital.

2020-10-16 04:53:21 UTC

> @Arkayde No, they simply own the means of production.

2020-10-16 04:53:27 UTC

Risk is risk. When the business goes bankrupt, how much do you pay?

So they, in return, get more money

2020-10-16 04:54:57 UTC

@Lukario chill with the memes. They aren’t adding anything to this conversation. Let’s try to actually have a conversation.

I don't think this conversation is going anywhere

2020-10-16 04:55:33 UTC

Explain to me why Capitalism has worked for so long than dragon. It's why the U S of fuckin A is the best country in the world and we have the best economy even in this pandemic. @Dragoncrash

2020-10-16 04:55:35 UTC

I think it is more important to have a civil debate than just make fun of @Dragoncrash
