number at back = objective lens size.

2019-10-17 20:24:28 UTC

larger objective lens = bigger sight picture

2019-10-17 20:25:22 UTC

anything above 10X zoom is going to be too much for you to stabilize by hand.

2019-10-17 20:26:23 UTC

Thanks, didn't honestly even think about that

2019-10-17 20:26:33 UTC

those seem pretty nice, i'll check out some reviews on youtube

2019-10-17 20:26:46 UTC

you want too look for "HD" binoculars on Aliexpress.

2019-10-17 20:27:30 UTC

These have higher quality glass and have a coating on them which makes the picture brighter.

2019-10-17 20:28:52 UTC

optional: look for binoculars that have been filled with nitrogen they are marketed as "fogproof", so they don't fog up inside

2019-10-17 20:30:37 UTC

Also buy a fixed zoom pair of binoculars, currently 10X42 binoculars are very popular size in the hunting world, for a good balance of zoom and sight picture.

2019-10-17 20:33:50 UTC

the multizoom binoculars are a gimick, ie 10-22X42 you may get upto 22 times zoom, but the sight picture is very narrow so small movement can shiftt your focus away from your target, and there is no way to stabilize that zoom level by hand

2019-10-17 20:34:11 UTC

@Nuohooja96 looks like a good pair.

2019-10-17 20:37:13 UTC

Thanks, I'll check those out too

2019-10-17 20:47:11 UTC

this looks like a deal.

2019-10-17 20:47:49 UTC

you could stabilize your binoculars against a tree, or use a walking stick

should i get some waterproof chinese earbuds to listen to some shit while taking a shower or nah

2019-10-18 13:00:15 UTC

You can't go without music for 5 minutes?

2019-10-18 13:01:58 UTC

@Matthew i can ofc

2019-10-18 13:02:04 UTC

but uh

2019-10-18 13:02:07 UTC

why not

2019-10-18 13:02:30 UTC

Because the waterproofing will probably make the buds sound like shit tbh

2019-10-18 13:02:49 UTC

probably

2019-10-18 13:03:06 UTC

Instead of buds, get a waterproof bluetooth speaker

2019-10-18 13:03:14 UTC

That way you can listen to music in more places than just the shower

2019-10-18 13:05:02 UTC

idk how shitty all of those are

2019-10-18 13:05:08 UTC

I have a cheap one and it sounds like shit

2019-10-18 13:05:18 UTC

Didn't pay much for it so I won't complain all that much

2019-10-18 13:05:35 UTC

But seeing "big brands" putting some out I do wonder if "quality waterproof speakers" exists

2019-10-18 13:05:45 UTC

Without having to spend 50+ $

2019-10-18 13:08:12 UTC

if non chinkshit is okay id say soundcore flare by anker is around that price range on good sale

2019-10-18 13:09:14 UTC

localy here they seem to be around 60-80 marks so id say 50 mark somewhere less taxed is realistic

2019-10-18 13:11:07 UTC

ofc just strapping resonance speaker to your bathroom door is option :P
