Tbh I don't know if I want to go with wireless earbuds and miband or just stay with my good ol wired ones and little controller thing on the wire

2019-10-02 03:33:06 UTC

The charging is what seems the most annoying to me

2019-10-02 03:33:33 UTC

"oh gotta charge my watch" "oh gotta charge my earbuds"

2019-10-02 04:05:32 UTC

the mi band lasts for *weeks* on a single charge

2019-10-02 04:06:51 UTC

it alerts you when you have 10% battery left, and that means you have a few days to get around to charging it @neetdev

I'm going to buy a a Ruizu x02 for novelty purposes along with a 32GB shark micro sd. I'm thinking of buying some cheap earbuds that are just as chinky

2019-10-02 05:32:58 UTC

Man the Ruizu has some massive flaws. Terrible UI/navigation, 4000 song limit (that's why I'm buying 32GB), wonky ordering of songs, and a lot of other shit. On the bright side, it looks cute, its cheap, and it has long battery life.

A few things about fitness trackers, because I'm interested in the Mi Band 4
Is sleep tracking snake oil?
Is heart rate tracking snake oil? (as in, what does this do for you exactly? does your resting heart rate change or something over time when you get healthier?)
Does it actually improve step counting over what your phone already has?

2019-10-02 05:42:51 UTC

If you have more cardio endurance your heart rate is lower, yes

2019-10-02 05:45:13 UTC

heart is made of muscles and strong heart works less at resting I think is how that works

The step tracking is usually more accurate because you have the band on for weeks at a time whereas a phone often gets put down and stuff

2019-10-02 05:45:43 UTC

sleep tracking is guesswork but I guess it could be neat to try improve your sleep

2019-10-02 05:45:52 UTC

I remember my Note 3 was absolutely retarded and unreliable since it was counting steps while riding in a car

2019-10-02 05:47:04 UTC

But anyways, thank you based Kad

Anyone ever use knockoff Wii u pro controllers.

2019-10-02 12:52:49 UTC

It looks like it's out of stock, but I got mine for ~25 bucks

2019-10-02 12:53:40 UTC

It has great battery life, gyro controls, and the sticks feel good to use. I don't think it has NFC

2019-10-02 14:32:11 UTC

the spacebar :D

2019-10-02 14:36:24 UTC

why is there country roads

2019-10-02 15:41:25 UTC

TAKE ME HOME

2019-10-02 15:57:57 UTC
2019-10-02 15:58:11 UTC

In the pictures it clearly states that the battery is 18650

2019-10-02 15:58:26 UTC

Does that mean that I can replace the battery elements with spare 18650 ?

2019-10-02 15:58:44 UTC

If anyone got any idea about it

2019-10-02 15:59:48 UTC

@Mereck yeah most likely but be prepared to solder, not a simple swap like in old phones

2019-10-02 16:00:13 UTC

Yeah, I kinda expect to have to disassemble / solder them

2019-10-02 16:00:19 UTC

Ming Lee sells battery cartridges for popular brand drills that you can fill with your custom batteries tho

2019-10-02 16:00:25 UTC

mostly for stuff like Bosch

2019-10-02 16:01:04 UTC

(and by ming lee I mean aliexpress, don't actually go searching for Ming Lee battery cartridge lmao)

2019-10-02 16:01:51 UTC

I was typing ming lee on aliexpress
