Never used Taobao, how does the pricing work? I know you gotta get an agent, but I don't know what that involves or how it's priced.

2019-10-11 13:39:44 UTC

at least it looks like a "chinese original" product and not a completely blatant rip off in the sense that it doesnt comes from klhip themselves

2019-10-11 13:40:00 UTC

thank you "Liro" brand nail clippers

2019-10-11 13:40:23 UTC

you can choose not to use taobao agents but you might have issues where your card gets declined

2019-10-11 13:40:37 UTC

Yeah, and the original is just 440C stainless, so it ain't anything too fancy

2019-10-11 13:40:52 UTC

Ah, why $25-$35 then?

2019-10-11 13:41:25 UTC

so when i bought clothes off taobao the final cost (price+shipping) ended up basically doubling the price of the entire order

2019-10-11 13:41:51 UTC

if you buy small things you can choose to have them sent by a small packet but it depends on the agent you use and if they're willing to ship via cheap methods

2019-10-11 13:42:14 UTC

also you have to pay $1-$4 for domestic shipping within china

2019-10-11 13:42:23 UTC

Jesus, I thought price was one of the big reasons to use Taobao.

2019-10-11 13:42:53 UTC

it still is, but it depends on the things you buy

2019-10-11 13:43:33 UTC

also that shipping is for an entire haul of items and not just 1 item

2019-10-11 13:43:54 UTC

like i have the fake goyard card holder that i got for $4 + $4 shipping and even though i paid "double" for the item, its still not $300

2019-10-11 13:44:30 UTC

im actually making a new haul for a TNF jacket on ytaopal to see the shipping price difference between that and superbuy

2019-10-11 13:46:03 UTC

What should/shouldn't you get via Taobao? I know keyboard people like it.

2019-10-11 13:46:38 UTC

7d mangos

2019-10-11 13:47:27 UTC

its hard to say, i just buy clothes and my first haul was some mmcx connectors and a cable

2019-10-11 13:48:13 UTC

shoes are extremely good value if youre buying fakes

2019-10-11 13:48:17 UTC

@Matthew If I get Taobao figured out and find enough other stuff to justify an order, I'm fucking doing it.

2019-10-11 13:52:02 UTC

are dried mangoes a total meme or worth trying? I see them in Daiso retail stores

2019-10-11 13:52:14 UTC

@Windatica I need a goyard wallet

2019-10-11 13:52:39 UTC

@LookRat they are a Thailand thing and it's tasty go try some

2019-10-11 13:53:25 UTC

Neat wallets.

2019-10-11 13:54:29 UTC

oh shit I reminded myself that I tried a bunch of strange shit from an asian grocery store

2019-10-11 13:54:42 UTC

dried squid candy was one thing

2019-10-11 13:55:18 UTC

real strange mix of salty and sickly sugary... and fishyness

2019-10-11 13:55:42 UTC

was nice for the first 3 pieces then increasingly disgusting

2019-10-11 14:01:34 UTC

dried mangoes are not a meme

2019-10-11 14:01:38 UTC

if those are genuine

2019-10-11 14:02:13 UTC

frozen philipines ones are world class, dried ones retain a fair amount of flavor

2019-10-11 14:06:18 UTC

i posted the goyard card holder a while ago, its basically a symbol of being involved with buying fake clothes from china at this point

2019-10-11 14:06:29 UTC

considering how good value it is for $4

2019-10-11 14:08:40 UTC

my last wallet was a $4 chinese pleather card holder which was pretty good up until it almost disintegrated in the wash

2019-10-11 14:20:56 UTC

You wash your wallet?

2019-10-11 14:21:02 UTC

Do you dry your cash too?

2019-10-11 14:21:31 UTC

He launders his money, don't you?

2019-10-11 14:22:15 UTC

I don't <:FeelsBadMan:589103983558393857>
