It's might be good. Depends on how it's done.
i have mild dysgraphia
Keyboards help a lot
Well, the thing is the infrastructure isnt there, we dont have the battery tech, and electric cars are fuckin awful for the environment
Electric cars can get energy from a variety of sources, whereas normal cars can only run on gasoline.
@AJ The purpose of electric is to reduce emissions, but they don't even do that really so they are kinda pointless.
Electric cars are only great in the countries that do produce their energy in a carbon negative manner
like sweden
def. not the US
Nuclear is the way to go imo
Even then, the cars themselves being created is bad for the environment
Lithium batteries are hell to produce
Yea it is sometimes a bit better but not significantly
If we could generate the energy by nuclear power
And, unlike a gas car, in 10 years it wont have created less emissions then getting a new car, cause itll need another battery pack
@Phantom _Energy Electric cars get energy from coal and are made at factories that produce emissions that use minerals that you have to mine.
Personally, I believe the future lies in biodiesel
it would be a different situation
Me too
but the best we've got
@Smitty I think they have the potential too reduce emissions, but I think the real benefit is that no matter where you are (as long as you are prepared) there are always ways of generating electron flow; however, finding gasoline in the middle of nowhere is hard.
Well, the worst part is, nuclear is very unstable in an automobile application
Electricity lines
shoukd be renewed
So its either use the same batterys and use electricity generated by nuclear, or have a reactor in car
The latter isnt safe at all
short term high cost but otherwise we won't have cars even in 40 years
@Phantom _Energy Yeah, but they reduce emission so little that there is barely any difference.
No there shozldn't be a reactor inside the car
@Smitty I agree
It's not possible to build such a small reactor anyways
The reason I say biodiesel is because we already have alot of vehicles running diesel, and biodiesel is completely sustainable
@Smitty I just think they are more versatile in how they can be powered.
If we could use the energy of nuclear reactors togenerate hydrogen from water , then we could use hydrogen as a fuel
@[daddy]Adika He wasn't saying that. He was trying to say that the electricity would be powered by nuclear
I see
Awe dang. No fallout cars 😦
You might not be able to put a nuclear reactor in a car, but you can use the electricity generated from a nuclear power plant to power an electric car.
Yes, but then you still have the battery issue
