I'm in a fun situation where I have a bunch of tools but they're battery powered and I don't have working batteries or chargers for some of them

my dad is an electrician, but he renovates our house and got tools (TOO MUCH TOOLS!) laying around. back in the height of things, all the sockets are plugged in to charged the stuffs lol

I have the single coolest drill that I've ever seen but it won't work because the batteries let the green fuzz out and I need to replace them to Lithium cells somehow

I refuse to use facebook, but I know a decent amount about electronics, just a pain in the butt to actually do it and then afterwards I'd have to probably modify the charger in some way

Since the old ones were NiCad batteries, I know they don't charge at the same rate so there's a lot of work, but it really is the coolest drill I've ever seen

Maybe. It isn't something I'm likely going to be able to do soon honestly, especially since it'll probably cost a decent amount to get the correct parts and such

It was my dad's drill though, so it has some emotional attachment as well
