Police policies as are in current times are the way they are for a reason. Patrol units ex carry long rifles because of events that have happened. I think some may need to be updated but total reform is very dumb and unrealistic

It’s hard to know what to reform. A lot of the bad cops are individual level. although they could approach criminals better or something

it will always come down to whether you've broken the law, are suspected of breaking the law, and are stopped and detained or put under arrest and how you choose to react

every lawyer will say take it to court and listen to the officer

Personally I dont believe police reform will do anything without social reform

That’s the thing is they say reform! Reform! What exactly do you want to reform? Is there a plan? Is there funding to re train hundreds of thousands of officers that put themselves in danger and go through hell on a daily basis? Really the only logical thing would be more training which requires more funding

Theres a reason police violence disproportionately affects minorities and im sorry to say it is because minorities disproportionately commit crime, they are not naturally inclined to they are simply in the poor social and economic condition which lead to crime. Until these socioeconomic issues are challenged police reform will only have minimal impact
