drugs laws have historically been implemented in ways that target minorities, provide longer sentences towards minorities, and the mandatory minimums are also worse towards drugs that are used more by minorities.

don't have to point out the skin color
they were designed to target black people
Blacks are still charged at maximum while whites walk off with a simple slap on the wrist
the crack cocaine disparity still exists
