are you trying to align the philosophys with the actual political compass quadrants? or is it just arbitrary? because I guess aetheticism works to an extent for the libertarian quadrant with my limited understand and lack of giving a fuck about minute descriptions.

I guess religions that have lots of material idols and symbolism would fall under that too. Like Catholicism

Id be actually really interested in taking a philosophy test. I kind of know what I think I align with, but when I retook my political compass... apparently what I think I align with and my actual results arent always the same

last time I talked to someone who was all about all the philosphical alignments and shit, I think the fact that I think consciousness is mostly meaningless, but life is what you make it and you have to give it a meaning, or you dont have too, puts me under "extentialism" but I dont really know. philosophy is cool and all, but more often that not its annoying, bullshit, and I would rather not.

I find Buddhism most helpful cuz I think there’s a lot of power in just embracing nothingness. In nothingness anything is possible (or not) and that’s comforting
