fucking shoot me
and the score was looking pretty fucking good too...
@Droidbot get a switch desu
Flying from Manchester to Basel and then from Basel to London costs less than a train ticket from Manchester to London
this <:hms:311152554618912768>
My gf wants to stay in Manchester longer instead of going to London for the rest of the trip. But our flight is from London. Now it was cheaper to just not care and book a new flight from Manchester regardless of the one from London being non refundable, as opposed to taking the train to London in the morning of the flight
How did those public transport prices not start a revolution yet?
Our railways were privatised and the train operator franchises can pretty much charge whatever the fuck they want because people will stay pay for it, since they have no choice
eh season ticket pricing is controlled by gov
then again they just put it up by inflation
how reliable is megabus? that would have been the alternative but almost 7 hours...
from manchester to london?
shouldnt be 7 hours...
almost
Holy shit this storm is intense
6 hours something
I think one more and it won't come back on
6 hours sounds about right from manchester to london
I don't think you should have any problem with megabus itself but roads tend to get quite congested around london, so you might want to account for that
I just booked a flight instead, unironically
faster and cheaper

ye me and my dad were plannin to travel around scotland/notherrn england for a holiday
ended up flyin to poland
cos cheaper
my train ticket from surrey (near heathrow) to my hometown would have been £120 if not for my railcard discount (and it was still £85) <:thenk:329322130804047872>
I think it would unironically be cheaper to go to amsterdam
it is
or about same anyway
you can fly to berlin for about same
shitty flight times but eh
Where in Poland :o
krakow
Also Taxi 22£, uber 3£
I know there should be a price difference but that huge?
