Let me guess . You think he’s a far right extremist

2021-01-06 14:59:03 UTC

I think he is a sad sac that should stick to his field. He got demolished by zizek and even more embarrassing by Matt dilhunty who is in most regards a bloated huff of insufferable traits

2021-01-06 14:59:34 UTC

I think you need a Xanax

2021-01-06 15:00:26 UTC

I think jordan Peterson took too much

2021-01-06 15:00:46 UTC

He actually did get sick from pills in 2019 lol

2021-01-06 15:01:11 UTC

Or something

2021-01-06 15:01:29 UTC

So much for the all meat diet

2021-01-06 15:02:35 UTC

Jordan Peterson just wants dudes to make their bed in the morning. Nbd it’s gonna be ok

2021-01-06 15:03:12 UTC

If that’s all he said that would be fine with his other 9 rules

2021-01-06 15:03:43 UTC

I learned that a long time ago as a trick yourself getting in a working mood early in the day

2021-01-06 15:06:08 UTC

Yeah those es&s machines were truly terrible

2021-01-06 15:07:32 UTC

I mean they did some. Dems should have had a majority without Georgia. A mix of Green Party and pelosi put an end to that

2021-01-06 15:12:17 UTC

@Dedkraken It is what it is now. Harris may be the most powerful person on the planet now. This is definitely going to be the most powerful executive branch we have ever had.

2021-01-06 15:13:20 UTC

Harris doesn’t have any more power than another senator if anything less. Executive branches have had far more power

2021-01-06 15:15:38 UTC

Harris is now the deciding vote in the Senate, she isn't a figurehead. She has been labeled as the most left Senator. They have the House. I'm guessing 100 days of spent political capital and then Nancy kicks off the 25 amendment. Harris becomes POTUS and some other unsavory person gets VP.

2021-01-06 15:15:42 UTC

The more votes you have in the senate the broader bills you can pass without full support of every last senator. Easier to pass bills and defeat filibusters gives the executive more power. Tie breaking votes is a consolation cookie not a grand political power

2021-01-06 15:16:25 UTC

Whoever claims she is the most left senator belongs in a mental health hospital

2021-01-06 15:16:47 UTC

Well that is most mainstream news organizations then.

2021-01-06 15:18:31 UTC

Mainstream news consider Sanders the furthest left. Harris is fairly right on Warren

2021-01-06 15:19:19 UTC

You can argue that differently on several points.

2021-01-06 15:19:50 UTC

I'm not saying she is though.

2021-01-06 15:20:25 UTC

There’s some lip service always paid to progressives about what a bold progressive choice the VP is followed by the actually moderate candidate turning around and ignoring the left for 4 - 8 years. A honeymoon period if you will. This isn’t serious analysis

2021-01-06 15:20:34 UTC

Personally, I think she does whatever is politically expedient.

2021-01-06 15:21:33 UTC

She picked up the most popular progressive policies to get votes and when Biden asked immediately dropped them again. There’s a handful of senators that actually believe in the policies that wouldn’t

2021-01-06 15:22:44 UTC

I understand that, and Biden has said as much. I am not sure how well the progressive base will take this though. It all comes down to how the progressive base reacts and the admin reacting to them.

2021-01-06 15:23:53 UTC

Someone like Sanders wouldn’t even pretend to stop supporting them. I think Warren would lie about being moderate and switch once potus. Kamala I don’t think would fight for core progressive policy if she was potus today unless she thought it could get votes

2021-01-06 15:25:11 UTC

I agree, but public pressure is real. I think we are going back to a GWB and Obama era of overseas policy.

2021-01-06 15:25:25 UTC

If the public doesn't pressure them.

2021-01-06 15:25:37 UTC

100%

2021-01-06 15:25:41 UTC

Bush 2.0

2021-01-06 15:26:44 UTC

Congratulations Biden voters you voted for the establishment

2021-01-06 15:27:01 UTC

Hopefully they can do better than that but at least no more Trump nonsense 😂

2021-01-06 15:27:16 UTC

Thanks. We're not displeased with not Trump.

2021-01-06 15:27:22 UTC

Yea. No wars and a good economy is soooo overrated

2021-01-06 15:27:36 UTC

Who needs more jobs

2021-01-06 15:27:45 UTC

We need more govt dependency

2021-01-06 15:27:58 UTC

Everything Trump touched economically failed. It’s fortunate he didn’t have the experience to do much of anything

2021-01-06 15:29:16 UTC

Like Giving money to HBCUs and his efforts to the black community.

2021-01-06 15:29:45 UTC

Steel manufacturing is suffering oh I know let’s drive up the price of steel with tariffs. Oh no we are losing jobs. Well tariffs are fun let’s try doing 2 trillion in economic damage in a trade war with China. Let’s take a dump on trade deals.

2021-01-06 15:30:03 UTC

Steel manufacturing is suffering because of the dems and Rinos my guy

2021-01-06 15:30:04 UTC

Everything that went wrong economically had Trumps grimy child fingerprints all over it
