give me break....give me a paper and i'll sign it now. BS Italian satellites flipping votes. wtf

2021-01-07 05:17:07 UTC

Oooo. I bet they just play the AZ objection on loop while they all go out for dinner

2021-01-07 05:17:08 UTC

You're right, they're not comparable. The BLM riits lasted months and resulted in 100s of lost lives, millions in property damage, weapons used to attack officers, looting, etc...

And yet they had mainstream support and even bail funds set up.

2021-01-07 05:17:36 UTC

They had the appearance of mainstream support*

2021-01-07 05:17:56 UTC

@leftingfighter33 100s i thought was 19 .

2021-01-07 05:18:46 UTC

The same system that counted ballots also counted lives lost

2021-01-07 05:19:03 UTC

@Dulsinea, you just advanced to level 4!

2021-01-07 05:19:06 UTC

I remember "mostly peaceful protests in front of burning buildings."

2021-01-07 05:19:20 UTC

pergaps you haven't been paying attention...i said earlier, to you...the very same thing, the summer riots went on too long...those riots destroyed property, monetary value.. this was an attack on democracy...not comparable.

2021-01-07 05:19:25 UTC

Yup

2021-01-07 05:19:41 UTC

R.I.P two good Wendy’s taken from us too soon.

2021-01-07 05:19:44 UTC

The appearance, they had a fund set up by democrats to bail them out.

They had support from governors who let them create autonomous zones.

They had police stand down.

2021-01-07 05:19:50 UTC

Maga's are actually trying justify today by comparing it to the summer riots. lol

2021-01-07 05:19:52 UTC

Congress reminding us how important they are after all the pork stuffing bills they just produced....

Gag.

2021-01-07 05:20:16 UTC

Yes, that does not mean mainstream support, it means select powerful and rich people support

2021-01-07 05:21:06 UTC

I think most people were like, “f that I’m staying inside”

2021-01-07 05:21:19 UTC

between 2015-2017....what does that have to do with 2020?

2021-01-07 05:21:40 UTC

Not trying to justify anything, it's terrible and stupid that some people took it upon themselves to make a peaceful protest into something else, just as happened during the summer riots.

2021-01-07 05:22:37 UTC

Idk, I think there are a lot of parallels and double standards. Violence and protests, and storming of capitol buildings during the summer was confined...

2021-01-07 05:22:45 UTC

They are comparable.

They both are riots by people who felt their government failed them.

They have been demanding full audits, asking for courts to not dismiss cases and hear them, asking for election transparency and it has fallen of deaf ears.

Wanting a fair election is not an attack in democracy.

2021-01-07 05:22:48 UTC

True.

2021-01-07 05:23:32 UTC

The appearance of unequal justice is what is making many people stand up and protest who normally never would. The fact that it appears that if you are on the left the law does not apply in the same way.

2021-01-07 05:23:36 UTC

This was orchestrated by the president of the USA based on false pretense.

2021-01-07 05:24:20 UTC

i don't remember them storming the capitol building during the summer?

2021-01-07 05:24:27 UTC

No. It’s not his fault they entered the Capitol Building

2021-01-07 05:24:29 UTC

That makes no sense, he asked people to peacefully assemble not to riot.

2021-01-07 05:24:42 UTC

I didn’t know that some violence was okay based solely on who may have condoned it.

2021-01-07 05:24:50 UTC

who told them to go ther all pumped up asking them to "demand asnwers"

2021-01-07 05:25:15 UTC

@SANCTIONED He called for peaceful assembly and protest.

2021-01-07 05:25:16 UTC

okay...did you pay attention to what he was telling them to go ther...

2021-01-07 05:25:32 UTC

no violence is okay.

2021-01-07 05:25:50 UTC

The new thing is when someone asserts something and another person brings up a similar instance when the other side partook in that same behavior it gets that “that’s just whataboutism” response.

But that’s a cop out because we evaluate situations and there merit by looking at equivalent scenarios and how they were received, so it’s not whataboutism, it’s comparing two instances of a similar scenario.

2021-01-07 05:25:54 UTC

Colorado got wailed on about 8 times

2021-01-07 05:25:59 UTC

Colorado capitol*

2021-01-07 05:26:02 UTC

Yes I would have gone myself but I had prior obligations.

2021-01-07 05:26:08 UTC

by telling them he "loves them" go home and Ivanka Trump tweeting "patriots are in the building" come on...

2021-01-07 05:26:08 UTC

That obviously doesn’t mean to break into the Capitol and it’s unreasonable to blame him for that.

2021-01-07 05:26:15 UTC

I never heard anything about competing statutes? I agree that the PA legislature gave some power to Boockvar, but when did they give her the power to make temporary accommodations under extreme circumstances? If it's true, I still don't like what happened, but my blame shifts from the PA SC to the PA legislature. And that would add to the blame that I already have against them for passing the act in the first place. Don't get me wrong-I'm okay with mail in voting And back in Oct 2019. no one thought mail in voting would be a wide spread phenomenon. Trying to set it up in less than six months-it's not going to be good.

2021-01-07 05:26:24 UTC

What-about-ism is the latest version of “shut up”.
