51 arrests as far as I know.
It's my understanding that Pence was opening the floor for objections. He even said so explicitly that doing so was constitutionally sound.
@ryanonsrc, you just advanced to level 7!
They are not looking for explanations. The ones provided, ad nauseam, are dismissed or wilfully ignored. They are desiring an outcome.
objections during vote counting is written in the constitution.
And what happened...they stormed the building.
This.
indeed. obviously the storming of the building was counter-productive. But, you can't say X preceded Y and assume X implies Y, that's faulty logic.
A lot of that going around, no?
Anyway, enjoy. Bed time.
Trump can why can’t I? Not that I was doing that...
Gn
Trump can be illogical at times, I agree. I happen to agree w/ Trump on other things however -- but that doesn't mean I have to adopt his faults.
night!
What do you agree with?
Thanks, seems there were more than 51 in the Capitol building at the height of it though, as though they werent interested in stopping the show - defunding the police I guess or perhaps they were waiting for a team of socialist workers? hmm.
The pentagon delayed sending reinforcements, “camo uniform will inflame the situation” something like that was said...here-say: trumps cronies delayed the process...
While I think he came in to the Presidency confused in a number of ways, I really think he has a solid understanding of what America, and the greater Western Civilization stands for, as the founding father's understood it. He also sees the dangers that the main-stream media and "Big Tech" imposes on society, to just list a few. Of course, I feel like I can't list Trump's pros without pointing out a few cons which I will do here: He can be ... let me say ... sloppy in how chooses his words. He also has had this weird, and frustrating habit of shooting himself in the foot in various ways. People like to say he is a "liar" ... eh, I'll say he can exaggerate to the point of lying at times, yes but in many ways, he is so blunt that one could say he is "honest to a fault" (as in, what most people would just think, he says). He also seems to be *VERY* naive. It's been painfully obvious that the people surrounding him are lying to his face, and constantly manipulating him. So, he appears to be far too trusting.
getting tired over here 🙂
Someone in the know that Antifa would be there in Trump clothing could have guessed correctly that 'Trump militia' was going to show up - just saying
@tomB63, you just advanced to level 3!
what we saw today was more Beavis and Butthead (and the entire extended family) than Trump militia
I saw several people wearing helmets, goggles, fully covered head to toe in black...
Word play, more or less. 2020 hyperbole.
It wasn't blac block. Some people just wear black.
I suppose. Saying Trump endorsed it seems like a total different matter to me. After all he is The President, why can't he simply declare Martial Law? (Not necessarily saying he should ... especially at this point).
What? I'm saying Trump supporters don't hide their faces.
ah gotcha. Good Point
Did anyone else watch all the videos and fail to see anyone carrying a weapon?
@ryanonsrc You’ve presented him in the best light possible... I would say he definitely understands what the divides in Our country are he exploited them. He has no respect for the constitution the executive branches of Government. He has highlighted the dangers of big tech but only went after 230 because twitter hurt his feelings. But the fact that he highlighted can only be a good thing. He is a compulsive liar and lives in an alternate reality, he carefully choreographs his image and most buy into it. I’m not sure naive is the word, insane...the fact that hen follows Qannon and gets his instructions of social media is more then enough more me. People around him are afraid of his narcissistic personality...they agree with anything he says, those who don’t, get fired. Others just feed his bs because know know he’ll bite....sorry couldn’t sugar coat it, I am also tired so apologies for errors and incoherence.
If you're right, that means that Biden will have even less regard for the constitution...
I saw guns
In the hands of police?
Nobody said bidens a saint.
Both.
ok, let me rephrase... Were any of the people that were shot by the police armed and using deadly force?
I couldn’t say...I know a lady was shot. It’s extremely sad. Let’s leave this one at that...
Also, if Biden has less regard for the constitution then we're in an even worse position than we were. You see, think of the constitution like a castle. The keep is where all the human rights are, the wall and moat are the second amendment. Without the defenses to the castle, it is vulnerable and will fall to siege. That should not be taken lightly!
You want me to leave it at that when other people burned cities down because a black man was shot by the police?
So what was with the running overweight cop with the extendible batton that he dropped and stopped to pick up? That looked like we was going to conduct an orchestra rather than keep security on this most important day ? Hard to imagine he didn't have a gun to stop the intruders at the base of the steps? Even security guards have guns - just wondering.
