i think anyone who has a few brain cells to rub together knows they didnt lock down the capitol properly or follow protocols.. whether it was a failure or willful maybe time will tell that
dont know who is the new speech writer is but huge mistake attacking the people in what seems to be a broad statement rather than the action's. 2ndly i cannot wait till he takes office so we can get past the Orange Man Bad. Why would any business allow a customer to use their platform after they have signaled that they want their fellow customers to take their business elsewhere? In effect, people are saying that Trump should be able to continue using those platforms in help take more people to other platforms. After his shenanigans with holding up legislation to try and get S230 repealed, why should they be compelled to allow him to continue on their platforms. Trump supporters are free to express their displeasure by withdrawing their support of those platforms. Viva la Parler!
I don't share this sentiment... Is it the end of free speech when a newspaper only publishes the stories, letters, and opinion pieces that they want to?
It may not be fair or good business, but I don't think they are obligated to allow anyone to use their service. The free market could be corrective in this instance... If enough people leave as a result, they might reconsider.
Totally, people should move to alternatives. Like Parlor. Unfortunately Apple is threatening to ban Parlor unless they implement similar censorship. So, that’s also not fair or good business, but not a reason for concern?
