And yes. I took it mudding, washed it, and sold that bitch the next day for 3400
No . The thought of my organs in someone else creeps me out.
I've ridden almost every day year round since I was 17 and I'm now 35. I used to race but now I do track days instead of actual racing. Fun times.
I have never seen so much blood after that event. Dude hit a tree at 55mph flew across the road 75 yards into a cornfield. No helmet shirt shorts. Ruptured aorta. Sad thing is he was going to sell it that day
I'm in the minority that takes riding seriously and take all the safety precautions I can. I don't want to die or get permanently injured for a hobby
@Thirsty_Fox I gave up bikes after my last accident on the internet. I was fine, ended up in the median in the water/ mud. But my bike basically vaporized.
I don't blame you. I would too. I try to be exceptionally careful in the way I ride, what I ride, and the gear I wear... of course, the risk still exists
I'm happy to say that none of my wrecks were my fault. Interstate was from a guy merging who didn't see me. 2 from grass in blind turns. 1 from a deer, 1 from a c turkey
I've still got a really nice leather buell jacket i need to sell
animals are probably my biggest concern here... lots of them, especially in the evenings. I do religiously wear high-vis vest (soon to be airbag vest), white full-face helmet, and full level-2 armor jacket and pants.. plus riding boots and gloves. Bike is bright red and has a really good lighting setup (two lowbeams, two highbeams, two running lights, and both amber lights always on)... two-channel ABS that works well. It does all add up. Getting high-vis gear was the best decision I've made
My hi vis helmet was the best I've ever bought
around here, 95% of riders are invisible and ride like pepegas. We're all shocked-pikachu when someone crashes at triple the speed limit. idk but we have to make an effort... relying on nothing going wrong isn't a good bet. Just my opinion.
The red bike above? This is all that's left due to the turkey. I obliterated that thing
heck of a turkey!
but the only thing that matters is that you come away in one piece
it do be like that tho
I remember that my 1980's rocky turned off the rear lights when the radio was on AM
Cursed toyota window
Come on, man!
I wonder how the window ended in that shape
the front of it has come off the fixture, tilting it down
ohh... Thats interesting. Where can i learn more abour thoss details since i am more into plane mechanics than cars
Can look up how power windows work... they aren't all the same, from what I understand. But in that photo, the pointy part of the glass is what would normally be in the top-right corner (when it's closed)
looks like the glass has come unattached
Thanks and yeah. It looks very silly but very cumbersome since you have a pointy and vulnerable glass rattleting around

Anyone here ever upgrade their batteries and electrical? I’ve thought about adding a battery for extended trips/over landing type stuff, but haven’t pulled the trigger
@wlightnin41 i took the alternator out of a 99 ram & installed it on my jeep for more power. Then a large converter from harbor freight. I can run a mini fridge or a TV & Xbox no issues
It's all about figuring out how much power draw you're going to have then making sure you can supply that
I've also got a 9k pound winch, 2 light bars, and a cb.
@TheMousez sweet, I would be installing it on an FJ cruiser.
Winch is probably next on the menu
Harbor freight mate
Yeah, harbor freight is normally cheaper than buying used even
With my 9k & a snatch block I pulled a xj up an embankment, with it flipped
Ah, a jeep from before they sucked
I've got a 97 zj & a 19 cherokee
