I don't want an argument or anything hostile. I prefer to have more chill discussions. Far too often in the past I participated in arguments that escalated to anger and screaming that simply wasn't productive for either person involved. That is not to say that I don't have strong convictions on certain matters, just that I would prefer the worst case for a discussion to be a parting of ways where only both individuals have a better understanding of the other's mindset.
I would like to know what your position on Homosexuality and morality. Under John Paul the II the Catholic church took a position of acting upon homosexuality being sinful but accepted people were born as such. Pope Francis for a while was very quiet on the subject but recently spoke in support of civil unions. In my view the the Roman Catholic church's position is similar to their historical views on interracial marriage. That given enough time they would revise their stance on Homosexual acts being sinful. Do you agree with the church's changing attitude in concerns to the morality of Homosexuality?

Oh absolutely there is never a need for hostility in an a discussion. I appreciate the fact that you realize that. Not many people can actually anger me lol.
Oh okay, so first of all. Quick clarification, I am not catholic never been to a Catholic church. For me it is too legalistic and is more tradition than a relationship with a supreme being. Just i guess all show nothing real. Anyways, in Genesis it says that men "had an unnatural desire for other men" alluding to the fact that it goes against the natural order of things, as well as sodom and gomorrah being condemned to destruction for "sodomy" or great evils. But that was also under a different more harsh covenant. I believe morally homosexuality is wrong. BUT, in 1 Corinthians 6 it says "all things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful to me". God gives us free will, he gives us the rights and wrongs but it is up to us to decide if we live by that. If you want to be gay, be gay. You have the freedom to do so, does God still love you absolutely! But he saddened by sin, and I believe that is sin.

I apologize if my introduction of the subject painted you as a Roman Catholic or any highly organized denomination. I simply find the position of the papacy to be a good starting point for the subject.
I also consider your self perceived sexual immorality to be immaterial to the mater.
Though I would normally start with Jesus for a topic like this it is probably best to look at the passages. As I suspect you don't place as much important on the teaching of Jesus superseding much of the bible as many Roman Catholics.

I assume this is the particular passage you're referring to. Per https://tms.edu/m/tmsj3h.pdf the original text used the term "arsenokoitai" which has been often mistranslated as homosexual. Within the full historical context the term arsenokoitai refers to a particular type of male prostitute whom cross dressed and provided sexual favors to glorify a false god. I would submit it is very likely the act which is considered unethical in the passage isn't even sexual impurity but instead sexual impurity in service of glorify a false god. What is your take on that?
You would be right on that.
Well I could completely see where that might be the case, however sexual impurity is sexual impurity no matter what service or purpose you are doing it for.

Can you give me the specific chapter and verse Bible passages which lead you to the conclusion that is it against the natural order? Homosexuality exists in the animal kingdom and appears to from a biological view to serve a function of the natural order. (my spelling and grammar isn't great, I apologize for editing posts and only make changes for fixing errors)
