2020-12-15 03:22:45 UTC

but does any conservative want to discuss fiscal policy

2020-12-15 03:23:15 UTC

i support free college, federal jobs guarantee, nit, public option healthcare.

2020-12-15 03:24:19 UTC

Do you support private options for college as well ?

2020-12-15 03:24:23 UTC

Or only public

2020-12-15 03:25:02 UTC

I'm from Canada, we have all of those except for free college

2020-12-15 03:25:10 UTC

Free college only available for natives

2020-12-15 03:25:35 UTC

Oh and we have universal healthcare

2020-12-15 03:27:28 UTC

public

2020-12-15 03:27:36 UTC

im for a public option tbh

2020-12-15 03:27:50 UTC

m4a not so much, but more so pragmatic reasons/political

2020-12-15 03:27:56 UTC

So 100% funded by gov't?

2020-12-15 03:28:23 UTC

public option is similar to like Germany or France, granted in the us it would be somewhat different

2020-12-15 03:28:32 UTC

its a option

2020-12-15 03:28:38 UTC

if you want goverment healthcare you get it

2020-12-15 03:28:48 UTC

I'd want private school to be included as an option

2020-12-15 03:28:48 UTC

hospitals would still be private

2020-12-15 03:28:51 UTC

Doesn't mean it will be good but you'll get it

2020-12-15 03:28:51 UTC

not all public

2020-12-15 03:29:04 UTC

wdym in the us private school is an option

2020-12-15 03:29:24 UTC

as for healthcare, the best system currently is a mix of both public and private, unless it can be treated like a business and lower costs

2020-12-15 03:29:41 UTC

No I'm just saying I wouldn't want all schooling to be public

2020-12-15 03:29:53 UTC

I would want private in as well. Also Canada has private, I went to a private school lol

2020-12-15 03:30:17 UTC

i mean, countries with socialized medicine do pay less per capita, but the issue is sense there is political tensions you run into shortages of for example mris( your from canada you should know).

2020-12-15 03:30:21 UTC

its not a economic constraint

2020-12-15 03:30:25 UTC

its just politicans being dumb

2020-12-15 03:30:34 UTC

Yup long waiting lists

2020-12-15 03:30:35 UTC

atleast in the us its not a economic one its a political one

2020-12-15 03:30:54 UTC

ya ik

2020-12-15 03:30:57 UTC

Yeah that's no bueno

2020-12-15 03:31:30 UTC

So I agree, the option to have private would be nice.

2020-12-15 03:31:33 UTC

healthcare I mean

2020-12-15 03:31:39 UTC

good we can agree

2020-12-15 03:31:59 UTC

Probs not much for debating between us, but I can see how healthcare is an ongoing debate in the US

2020-12-15 03:32:17 UTC

yes because politicians dog whistle and strawman

2020-12-15 03:32:19 UTC

its sad

2020-12-15 03:32:24 UTC

Since it's extremely politicized

2020-12-15 03:32:25 UTC

and republicans(alot of dems to) fall for it

2020-12-15 03:32:41 UTC

@Mystika you seem smart look into modern monetary theory when you get a chance

2020-12-15 03:32:42 UTC

Also big pharma, you guys pay like $100+ for insulin and here we pay less than $30
