2020-11-06 02:04:12 UTC
2020-11-06 02:04:18 UTC

Yup

2020-11-06 02:05:34 UTC

oh man

2020-11-06 02:05:46 UTC

as long as the FBI has that law about lying to them

2020-11-06 02:05:55 UTC

I aint ever being helpful to them about nothing without a lawyer

2020-11-06 02:07:39 UTC

They can and will put you in prison if you 'forget' something.

2020-11-06 02:07:54 UTC

And make a statement about it.

2020-11-06 02:08:00 UTC

And it turns out it wasn't true.

2020-11-06 02:08:01 UTC

I won’t even say my name without a lawyer.

2020-11-06 02:08:15 UTC

Don’t want to get Flynned

2020-11-06 02:10:42 UTC

That's my general statement of how to deal with Police/FBI: Never resist, never talk.

2020-11-06 02:12:15 UTC

You may have injustice done on you, but you'll be alive and able to fight it in court.

2020-11-06 02:12:35 UTC

And likely earn a hefty settlement if you followed those steps and didn't do anything.

2020-11-06 02:13:06 UTC

Leonard French is a patent lawyer. Why would he have covered Rittenhouse?

2020-11-06 02:13:17 UTC

As I said, he likely didn't cover him.

2020-11-06 02:13:28 UTC

They wanted left-wing lawyers.

2020-11-06 02:13:39 UTC

Lol ok I see

2020-11-06 02:13:44 UTC

I think Uncivil Law is patented lawyer too. He covers all sorts of things.

2020-11-06 02:13:59 UTC

L. French is a copyright attorney.

2020-11-06 02:14:06 UTC

Nate is my only left wing lawyer. That’s all I need 😂

2020-11-06 02:17:38 UTC

A lot of these guys veer out of their lane. Their professional credibility is often predicated upon whether people like what they're saying. I like the ones who tell you up front that it's not their field and they hedge. They should also be able to present a tenable counter-argument to their opinion once in a while imo.

2020-11-06 02:18:11 UTC

They tend to want to avoid being too political, and that's the case for L. French.

2020-11-06 02:18:24 UTC

Because it lessens the amount of reach you have.

2020-11-06 02:18:46 UTC

It alienates a potential audience.

2020-11-06 02:19:21 UTC

That's my guess as to why a lot of legal youtubers avoid certain cases.

2020-11-06 02:20:14 UTC

I honestly only watch like 5 lawyers. And Viva isn’t a practicing attorney anymore.

2020-11-06 02:20:27 UTC

Probably so. I'm more concerned when they present themselves as experts in a particular because they can read legalese and cherry pick case law.

2020-11-06 02:20:37 UTC

I think they are all providing their legal analysis as objectively as they can.

2020-11-06 02:21:13 UTC

yea if Lehto would get political, he'd lose half his audience (though maybe he'd gain some more)

2020-11-06 02:21:20 UTC

but it wouldn't be Lehto anymore

2020-11-06 02:21:27 UTC

I don't want him ruining his show

2020-11-06 02:21:51 UTC

but I do want some counter to Viva Frei, Uncivil Law, Nate The Lawyer, and our very own Robert

2020-11-06 02:21:54 UTC

and I don't see that

2020-11-06 02:21:58 UTC

oh and Rekieta

2020-11-06 02:22:11 UTC

@realz 😂 I think he is like moderate right or maybe what used to be consequences Democrat

2020-11-06 02:22:26 UTC

@Gypsy Lehto?

2020-11-06 02:22:31 UTC

yea well he keeps you guessing

2020-11-06 02:22:31 UTC

@realz aye

2020-11-06 02:22:34 UTC

and that is a good thing

2020-11-06 02:23:07 UTC

Welcome to Lehtos Law
